Found Puppy In Laurel/Seaford Area

Hi Joe-

I live in Laurel/Seaford area just off of rt. 113 and Very early Saturday morning a black lab/pit mix showed up on my doorstep. Obviously thirsty and starved....we feed her and gave her some attention. Needless to say, she hasn’t left I live in a country setting and no one has been around looking for a puppy that was lost. I thought you could get the word out to see if anyone has lost a puppy. My best guess is that it is about 12 weeks.

Dog looks to be female, all black except a white diamond shape on her chest and her paws are white. Very hyper and is chewing on everything that is available.

I can be reached at 302-258-4676...we are foster parents now, but may be willing to adopted! THANKS!

hehe...looks to be female...at 12 weeks you should be able to tell.

Chewing on everything...yep black lab and pit bull...onery kids chew on everything...

My black lab is 7 years old and chews on anything than can't chew back...if he can't destroy it...he's not interested.

I hope you find his owner or keep him...he looks really sweet.

She looks like one of the puppies that was available at the humane society last week.

Oh, and I remember when we first took our 12 week old lab to the vet...very hyper...

Vet said he'd probably calm down...well never...

7 years later...vet was right! Still love him though...onery dog.

It does look like a puppy from the humane society. Super cute, and perhaps not pit, but boxer?

Joe,
My family and I went last night and adopted this little sweetheart:) She stole our hearts as we have another dog that looks just like this baby! The family that was so kind and caring to take her in had made the very difficult decision that it was best for the puppy to be adopted. Let me say that the family that did rescue her are wonderful people:) So, lets see we now have 5 dogs and 5 cats at our home that all but one have been rescues!!! We will be having her spayed at 6 months and we will have, as all of our dogs have, a micro chip put in on the first visit to our vet.
Thank you for your continued work to find owners of lost pets and find homes for those who have just been dumped out as this baby was. Thank you again to the wonderful family that rescued her and gave her lots of love.
