Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 26 May 2010
Location: 30000 block of Driftwood Drive, Delmar, MD
Suspect: Kenneth Wayne Larkin Jr., 48, Delmar, MD


Narrative: On 26 May 2010 at 10:16 PM deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 30000 block of Driftwood Drive in Delmar. Upon arrival, they deputies met with a female subject who advised that her boyfriend, Kenneth Larkin, had been consuming alcohol when he became confrontational. She stated that they began arguing when he grabbed a hold of her hard enough to leave a mark on her. The female then stated that Larkin went into a room, stated "Well I got something in here" and that is when she heard Larkin work the action of a shotgun. At this point she ran outside and called 911.


The deputies placed Larkin under arrest and he was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Larkin in the Detention Center in lieu of $75,000.00 bond.

Incident: Assault

Location: 5800 block of Argyle Drive, Parsonsburg, MD
Suspect: Sandra K. Russell, 47, Parsonsburg, MD


Narrative: On 27 May 2010 at 6:12 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 5800 block of Argyle Drive for a reported altercation. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the two residents had become embroiled in a verbal altercation that turned physical. While speaking to one of the residents, the deputy observed that he was bleeding from his lip and chin area. The deputy concluded that the victim’s wife, Sandra Russell, was the one who committed the assault and placed her under arrest.


The deputy transported Russell to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Russell on Personal Recognizance.
Charges: Assault 2nd degree

that is so unfair the first story a man grabbed a woman and left a mark on her he gets locked up and has a $75,000 bond,and which he was totally wrong in doing so,and yes I see he has more charges but,the woman below hits,punches,and or beats her guy and she just goes for a ride and gets let go on her own P.R. I just dont see where there is equal punishment for almost similar crimes.
