Brixx Pizza in North Carolina takes social media pretty seriously, because it fired a waitress after she complained on her Facebook page about a stingy couple who occupied a table for three hours and only left a $5 tip.

Can't really blame the girl, She could have turned that table around 3 times and made more money!!!! I use to waitress and I know what that is like and if they tipped well, I didn't care and who really wants to sit in a restaurant for 3 hours?!
like to see her reach some sort of settlement for that...dunno what grounds, but dang yo...
girl i worked with at mickey fins in oc got fired for a very similar story last year.
I understand how she felt, but I'm sure the restaurant has that policy so they won't lose any customers - the tip doesn't affect the restaurant. I believe a minimum tip of 15% should be mandatory. Folks don't realize that servers work for $3.28 and hour and totally rely on their tips for income. It's been said before, but I will say it here: If you can't afford to tip at least 15%, go to McDonalds!
