sigh...I was at Pohanka this afternoon at aprox. 1:45 and was told that a lady from Florida had won. I was really hoping it would be a local winner.
Keep the house and let them raffle the car again.

I'm so totally impressed with Pohanka, Chris Hagel and his wife, Chuck & his family and all the people that have come together for Chuck. This has totally warmed my heart. I loved watching the Bonnie Hunt show today.

Chuck, you are a strong man. May this be your lease on a new life. You and your family have earned it. My dad died of pulmonary fibrosis, so I know what it is to live short of breath. I wish a peaceful, clear breathing future to you. I don't pray much, but I have prayed for you.
i watched the bonnie hunt show and an anonymous donor bought the remaining tickets for chuck so he will receive his lungs. So wonderful for him.
I have always believed that GOD puts certain people in our life for a reason. Chuck has been truly blessed to have such a loving family, loving friends and fortunate enough to work for an employer that truly cares about their employees and not to mention the compassion he has received from total strangers, it lets me know that there is still so much good in the hearts of mankind.
One thing that I would like to say to people who do not know Sandy Fitzgerald personally is that she is an exceptional woman, not just because of her successful career operating one of the finest dealerships in our area, but because Sandy truly does care about her customers and her employees. If you have never experienced her smile and her heart felt laugh I can tell you that you are really missing an opportunity to meet a wonderful person. While Sandy battles her own personal health issues, she takes the time to make it a point for you to see the good and positive in any situation, she encourages and supports you to rise above any obstacle that has been put in your path. She is an inspiration to me and my life is truly blessed knowing her.
Chuck you are so fortunate to be given such a wonderful gift , may GOD continue to keep blessing you and your family and friends and may he continue to put more people like Sandy in the world !!!
Did Chuck get COPD from smoking cigarettes?
If he did I have no sympathy for him and frankly don't support fundraisers for idiots who smoke, get cancer or COPD etc which is mostly caused from smoking cigarettes.
If Chuck didn't smoke then he deserves new lungs.
