Salisbury Burglaries/Part One Violent Crime Up As Much As 38%

Part One Violent crime is up 14% in Salisbury compared to this time last year.

Robberies have increased 18% and burglaries have climbed 38%. In the last month, the city has had 70 burglaries, according to a WBOC news report.

Again, Salisbury News has been trying to tell every one for years now that things are much worse than the local MSM wants to expose.

It seems they are finally catching on and that's a good thing.

What I see is that the SPD is already getting the news out, good or bad, on a regular basis instead of keeping it under wraps like Chief Webster ordered. It made it easier to lie about the crime rate when hardly anybody knew what it was.

Better informed people are better equipped to help law enforcement and to know what they're talking about when they look to help themselves.

They said "it was a recent increase in crime". We've had this problem for more than what I consider "recent".

Don't forget that drug arrests are down. Coincidence...I think not!

That's why gun & ammo sales are up. Good citizens, arm up! I got plenty. And gettin' more. Damnit, shoot first. Damn asking. Damn warning. You enter a home or establishment with criminal intent, these bastards need to reminded that alka seltzer will NOT help them digest hot lead.

More of the same crap. The ignorant locals will deny anything is wrong with this area till the day they die. Ignorance is bliss around here.
