On October 13, 2009 at approximately 6:28 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Burger King restaurant on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival the officers met with restaurant management who advised that the store had been robbed by a single suspect at gunpoint. The employees advised the officers that while inside of the restaurant the lone suspect entered the business and produced a pump type shotgun. The suspect demanded and was given the currency from the business. The suspect then fled from the business on foot toward Eastern Shore Drive. Attempts by responding officers to locate the suspect were negative. An attempt to locate the suspect utilizing a K-9 from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office was also negative. There were no injuries and the suspect is described as:
1. Black male, wearing a black “hoody” type sweatshirt, black pants, black ball cap, a black bandanna, black gloves and tan Timberland boots.

Well that description should just about narrow it down to most of that population.
Curfew? YEAH right. you will be taken the rights away from criminals and thats a no no. Obama would be getting calls out the wahoo on that. It was prob a S U student heading in for class. Needed the money for those books. So he stopped at (HIS) atm.

Umm, maybe b/c his mother and father were both african american. What else would he be? The description provided by the victims says that he was a black male- no one just assumed that.
Steel Services was also broken into and robbed yesterday morning. This is not the first time and SPD has yet to find who broke in the last few times.
Oops! I guess we need to register and restrict ownership of shotguns now. Surely THAT is the answer. Before I get the crazy rants...it's sarcasm folks!

I went through the drive thru at about 9:30am and no one responded,pulled up to the window to see no one and saw all the registers open and i said,man i wonder if they just got robbed(who'd a thought) but then saw an employee sitting at one of the tables in the lobby as i pulled further up and he just ignored me along with the other three cars ahead of me that did the same thing.It was kinda weird to find out they really got robbed,but next time,could they let the people know beeping at the drive thru,that they are closed,like,put a sign up or something.Oh yeah, i think i saw the suspect (minus the gloves) about 15 times on the way back to work.
But I thought the shore didnt have any "big City" crime? What a joke. The criminals around here are just as crazy as the locals with their self proclaimed "Gods Country" and high "quality of life" BS.
The sooner ppl here WAKE UP and see all the real problems that occur here the sooner they will either, relocate or actually do something to remedy the problems.
