This is unrealistic. Of course he would be able to stop the meteor!
ha ha. Great point in this editorial. Honest criticism of Bush, and I don't mean the flag burning lefty loonies, was considered unpatriotic by the right.
He would tell us he had stop the meteor and as usual it would be another lie !
we on the right do not revel in his failure when his cause is RIGHT and JUST. it's JUST that he hasn't been RIGHT yet!
Furthermore... if this was true, isn't it telling that even a left-wing cartoonist realizes that this would be ANOTHER failure for Obama. He hasn't gotten anything done yet! (thankfully)

It wasn't criticisms of Bush. It was the non-supportive actions and criticism of the troops and efforts of the troops while fighting in Iraq. Iraq was not well planned, thats Bush's problem; but the raging of "ill-legal war", "baby killers", and ousting of POW procedures was deemed "unpatriotic".
1:42, bullcrap. As I stated, I'm not counting the lefty loonie rhetoric you mention ("baby killers"). I'm talking about how ANY critique of Bush's judgment for going in was construed as unpatriotic by the right. All you heard from the right was "support your president or else!" In fact, the right said that you were "against the troops" anytime you spoke out about the war. You were "against the troops" and a "traitor" if you said Bush lied! But idealogues have such a short memory...

The "right" have chosen not to support this President in ANY way.
They, as a whole are very happy that nothing has been accomplished (their words).
They want this President to fail, for whatever reason they have, which IMO has nothing to do with him being a Democrat.
Careful what you wish for!
This country cannot afford for him to FAIL!
