A Message From SU

On October 12, 2009 at approximately 6:30 pm, two Salisbury University students were followed by subjects in a vehicle, as the students walked from Burger King on S. Salisbury Blvd to campus. Three men exited the vehicle on Lorecrop drive and chased the students, who ran to the TETC building. One of the students dropped a cell phone while fleeing, which was picked up and stolen by one of the men who were giving chase.

The suspect vehicle was described as a teal in color Ford Taurus, with tinted rear windows, and Maryland registration plates.

The vehicle was occupied by four African-American men and one African-American female, described as follows:

Female: Light gray or white hooded zip-up sweatshirt over a black shirt, and black jeans
Male #1: Approximately 5’7”, medium build, late teens to early twenties, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a black baseball cap.
Male #2: Light gray or white hooded zip-up sweatshirt over an orange shirt, and dark jean pants.
Male #3: Approximately 5’7”, medium build, late teens to early twenties black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

So they went into an area away from people? Thats like the dumb blond running in the house and up stairs when being chased. Something is fishy with this story. How they know the rear window was tinted? 3 men got out and they could be id by clothing but how did they id the other when they were in the vehicle? I smell a false report.

10:19, no where does it say they ran to an area away from people. Have you been on campus?? TETC is the brand new building on the corner facing rt. 13. There are plenty of people around there at 6:30 pm. There is a huge parking lot with people coming in and out, not to mention the dorms right next to it.

I don't understand this...how can two people get chased into SU campus and no one notice this. Now I come through there everyday at around 4:15 and it is a ton of cars....at 5:00 its even worse..now a 6:30 students are getting out and you have them. I think there is more to this story. Doesn't make it right but this goes futher then a robbery attempt on random people or even an attempted kidnapping...even dumb crooks aren't that stupid.

12:53 What are you implying just come out and say it we all know where your going with this ! Giving people a pass doesn't help the crime issue you need to be a little more color blind.

I believe it. There were two students, and once they got to the TETC building and the chasers fled, they'd be able to notice everything as the chasers fled. Say what you want about the students, but no one makes up a story like this to explain to Mommy and Daddy how they lost the cell phone.

Ask Anitra Pirkle if she made up being carjacked at a Tastee Freez.

Get real.

As for nobody noticing. Noone said nobody noticed. People drive by and see stuff and don't get involved all the time.

What planet you on?

Did someone ask the cell phone carrier to use the built-in GPS to locate it?
