Slots are coming to Maryland. They’re already in Delaware. Sports books is in Delaware; with blackjack and craps to follow. Horse racings has been here for years. If you don’t have enough gambling alternatives, the Maryland and Virginia lotteries are giving you one more.
It appears that Powerball – the original big dollar, multi-state lotto is coming to Maryland and Virginia. Both states are already members of the MegaMillions multi-state lottery, but are negotiating with Powerball to bring in even more revenue. Maryland expects Powerball to bring in an additional $25 million per year.
