If my father, a 1950's and 1960's-style conservative democrat (who nearly always voted Republican), had heard me talking the way these right wing nuts are talking today (e.g. revolution, secession, blood-in-the-streets, death-to-the-president, etc.) he would have beat my a**, and then disowned me.

I just purchased my kids a set of Omamamuffs.
Pretty slick, anytime the earmuffs detect a teleprompter near, they start playing patriotic music. When the music is playing, my kids can't possibly hear anyof the marxist propaganda eminating from Obama!

So, the president of the United States wants to talk to children about the importance of staying in school and studying hard, and this is a bad thing?
Hey righties: Are you mad because he is liberal, or because he is black? It is only one or the other choice. If President John McCain or President Sarah Palin wanted to address the nations' school children, I am 100% positive there would not be such a freak-out from anyone.

All I'm hearing on this thread is crickets. What's the matter righties? Obama got your tongue?
A new song will soon be coming out sung and played by well-known artists. It is the presidential song which will be a first. All school students will learn and sing this praise anthem to president Obama along with the standard pledge to the flag.The tune is catchy and should have an almost hypnotic enjoyable effect on the general population. People will probably get back to whistling the tune as they go to work as in the good old days. I look forward to November for it's introduction to America.
