Juvenile, 15yoa of Salisbury, MD was arrested for Robbery, 1st Degree Assault, and Theft less than $100. On August 31, 2009 at approximately 4:30pm, while on patrol in the area of Davis St an officer was approached by a two juveniles that had been robbed and assaulted by a group of black male juveniles. The victim advised that he and his friend were walking in the 500 block of E Isabella St and were approached by a group of youths who demanded the victim’s skateboard. As the victims tried to run from the group one victim tripped and fell and was immediately punched and kicked by the youths. The victim was also struck in the head several times with his skateboard. The victim was transported to PRMC-ER for his injuries. During the course of the investigation, the officer learned from the victim the identity of one of the juveniles involved in the assault. This Juvenile was located, arrested and released to the custody of Juvenile Services.

Erica Jenice Hartnett, 20yoa of New York, NY and Alyssa Monet Peterson, 20yoa of Bronx, NY were arrested for Theft less than $100 and Conspiracy to Commit Theft. On September 1, 2009 at approximately 9:11pm, an officer responded to the Salisbury Wal-Mart for two shoplifters in custody. It was learned that both subjects had entered into the store and removed numerous articles of clothing. Hartnett and Peterson then concealed the items and attempted to leave the store without paying for the articles. Both subjects were released to the custody of Central Booking.

Juvenile, 13yoa of Salisbury, MD was arrested for Malicious Destruction of Property less than $500. On August 31, 2009 at approximately 5:38pm, an officer responded to the 1100 block of Harbor Pointe Dr for a report of MDOP. An officer met with the victim who advised that his home and vehicle had been bombarded with eggs and various vegetables. Victim advised that he has been having an on-going problem with the Juvenile. The Juvenile was located and admitted to his involvement in the crime. The Juvenile was arrested and transported to the Police Department where the Juvenile was released to the custody of a parent.

Carolyn Diane Jenkins, 50yoa of Salisbury was arrested for Theft less than $100. On August 31, 2009 at approximately 1:13pm an officer responded to the Shore Stop located on Parsons Rd for a reported theft. It was learned through investigation that Jenkins had entered into the business and placed a food order. Upon receiving her food, Jenkins was observed placing the item in her personal bag and walked out of the store without paying for the item. Jenkins was located in the 800 block of W Isabella St and arrested. Jenkins was released to the custody of Central Booking.

It is also suspected that this was part of a gang initiation for this young thug and his cohorts. Unfortunately, he will probably get a slap on the wrist and sent on his merry way.
