9/12 March Headlines

Did anyone see the headline and articles about the big crowd in DC yesterday in the Daily Times?

Neither did I.

National Park Service stated it was the largest turnout for an event in D.C. history. Pictures taken after the event showed virtually not one piece of trash on ground. Compare that with the disgusting piles of trash left after the coronation of The One.

Orsonwells, we were there and we knew the media is in the Obama tank, so I'm not surprised. I sat on the corner of the reflection pool with people as far away as North Carolina and Texas. I'm only dissappointed that the Fox News stories are taken from the AP stating 10s of 1000s, when it should have been 100,000s in a modest estimate. Sitting at the pool, we could hear the crowds from Pennsylvania avenue chanting USA as they continued to pour in over all 8 lanes. It was peaceful, polite, loud and an experience I will never forget. We rode in from the Metro in VA and it was standing room only in every car, at one point our particular all together sand "America."

8:34am, on a side note, we did see the trash cans were overflowing, as DC was not prepared at all for this event, and me and my daughter helped pick up trash afterwards as we waited to meet with our group near the Metro.
