My name is XXXX YYYYY and my mother is a senior citizen and resident of the Cottages at Riverhouse on Pemberton Drive. Saturday and Sunday there has been daylight break-ins at two of the residence there. I know that you report crimes in the Salisbury area so this is why I am sending this email to you. I also am a resident of Salisbury living on XXX Drive. Thank you for your time and I enjoy reading your daily blog.

When senior citizens are robbed, beaten, and sexually molested, it is past time for law-abiding citizens to be armed for their protection. The whole of Salisbury is on its way to becoming a ghetto.

Forget about Ireton , he would do nothing anyway. Forget about the SPD , they would do nothing anyway.

NO, WHERE IS IRETON! what do you expect SPD to do when they only have half a dozen officers for the entire freakin city?! The officers can not be standing in front of every house at the same time and most times are busy running call to call and have no time to do anything proactive.
Instead of complaining on this blog, take a hard stand and provide our elderly citizens with the support and protection they deserve.It would be my guess the idots entered the property from the rear and exited the same way. Good citizens must take action against the undesirables in our society.
