10 trucks for a trailer fire? Was the whole trailer park in flames?

The Park is Laurel Village. The dispatch was for a working fire in a sturcture (trailer) standard procedure is for a three company dispatch alerting 81 Laurel, 71 Blades, and 87 Seaford. The fire was in Laurel's first due so they responded with 4 or 5 trucks and each addtional company with two trucks that have been prearranged in a mutal aid agreement. So to answer your question no the whole park was not on fire it is more about getting manpower to the scene. Sure that if your house was on fire wouldn't really matter how many fire trucks showed up just so the fire got put out and some of your belongings were saved. I also believe two people from the home where transported to the hospital.
Thanks for your support.

Hey, I agree with 9:22am. If it was my house I would want every fire crew around to respond. Who wouldn't. If its the cost of the crews that are worring people, look somewhere else to cut cost. Fire Crews, EMT workers, police are needed. Removing the grass in front of the court house and replacing it with sod--thats a waste of money
