It looks as if the clambake was a good spot for girl watching.

But the hands down winner is Katherine Amenta. She sure is a good looking woman.

Our tax dollars at work. I wonder how many of these politicians would be there if they had to pay for their own tickets and had to set under the pavillion like most.
No they set under tents where you have a pay an additional cost for
crabs which are served to them. No standing in line for 45 mins.for 6 crabs. I would have alot more respect for politicans if they were treated as average people and didn't get on this pork.

I saw where you enjoyed meeting Greg Bassett's wife.
Watch your back Joe, they are just alike, both will stab you in a heartbeat.

What started out as a community event many years ago has turned into an East Coast destination.
This was never started as a event to cater to Politicians. Sadly thats what its turned into to. All forms of goverment and employees attend. Its somewhat of a social event a who's who of politics. Its good to be seen. Anyway a great event as always. I would not miss it.

It's no wonder there's such a large turnout of politicians at this thing. Crabs and politicians are related. They're scavenging bottom dwellers.

I like how Gary made the people post and not the politician post. LOL

A party to celebrate who is up who's arse the most! All sponsered by the sweat of the working class.

we showed up at two thirty and had to wait for forty five minutes for the truck to bring more crabs. When it did show up, there was already a long line for them, then you could only get five crabs. That lasted for twenty minutes and there were no more crabs. My family paid one hundred eighty dollars. Five adults and one child. For five stupid crabs each. I will never go again. I am very disappointed in J. Millard Tawes Crab and Clambake. Expect attendance to be down five more next year.

Annon 5:41 Ditto, very poor planning this year. Something changed! I paid $120.00 and did't get even 5 crabs. As I walked around I saw plenty being wasted in the tents. Whats up with that.
Had 2 fish sandwiches and 4 beers for $40.00.

5:41 and 6:33 But look at the positive, you were able to eat those five crabs and two fish sandwiches around politicians. That should have made up for the lack of crabs.

Uh...tickets were $40 a piece and 5 X $40 = $200. where did you get your tickets or are you just starting crap?

Politicians pay for their tickets AND they pay EXTRA to be under a private tent AND pay by the bushel for their crabs...there is no special treatment. Clam Bake has always been a political event hence the name, GOV. J. MILLARD TAWES Crab and Clam Bake. Get your facts straight, people!
