And this what the Democrats have been raising all the fuss about, this surely equates to a beheading. It is truly sad how a once great party has literally has gone wacko!
Whether or not waterboarding works is a moot point. Waterboarding is ILLEGAL. The bill that specified it as torture and therefore illegal was signed by none other than Ronald Reagan himself.
Now, are we a government of laws or not?? Do we cast aside our most sacred tradition (the rule of law) when it is convenient for us? If we do, we are no longer the United States of America.
There was no bill signed by Reagan that said waterboarding was illegal. That bill said that torture was illegal and by definition waterboarding is not torture and therefor legal. The current administration has since denounced it's use but it is still very legal and very effective. And it is very stupid to not use it when required.
Waterboarding is not torture. There is no lasting harm done to the person being interogated. It is uncomfortable, even unbearable but for only 20 seconds. Then it is over with no lasting effects.
Anon 1:14 We are no longer The United States Of America...Obama is making us The Union Of Socialistic America!
You people forget the public beheadings of Americans so quickly it amazes me! The torture our men suffered in Vietnam and Korea and in WWII at the hands of the Japanese. But forget all this...you seem to have forgotten 9/11 also and I'm sure you were also screaming "Never Forget"...I call you all that have forgotten worthless hypocrites!
Please leave my country so we can bring it back to a great nation again! Move to France!
