OC Woman In Fatal Accident Identified
OCEAN CITY - A Pennsylvania woman died yesterday after she was hit by a Canada Dry truck while riding a bicycle in Ocean City.
Kristin Stormer, 23, of Hollidaysburg, Pa., was hit around 1:20 p.m. yesterday as she crossed Coastal Highway. Stormer was in the crosswalk but was crossing against the traffic signal.
The investigation is ongoing, but police said there are no charges pending against the driver of the truck that struck her. She may have been wearing headphones while riding her bicycle.

Did truck safely pass bicyclist, leave a safe distance from rider? Head phones should not be used by rider but is no reason to fault the biker. Was truck turning into side street, parking lot?
Hey Buz, ask God, I wasn't there.
She will be missed!
buz read what it said. She was crossing Coastal Highway in the crosswalk against the signal, which means she was going east or west the truck was going north or south.
you will be missed kristen, you always made me laugh, and you always had a smile on ur face. my prayers go out to your family. <3
"Police say Stormer was crossing westbound Coastal Highway on a bicycle when she was struck by a commercial delivery truck driving heading southbound." from wboc.com
this means she was crossing from east to west she should stopped at the red on 33rd street.
"Citizens riding bicycles and/or scooters should ride in the bus lane and they must obey all traffic laws. This includes obeying all lane markings, stop signs and traffic signals." from wboc.com
the truck had a green and was moving south she went west and had a red light.
how much more clarification do we need people!!!!!
Crosswalk or not she was on a bike and ran a red light....
Joe way to stand by your guns on the photo. Let it be an eerie reminder for everyone that we all need to pay attention when in traffic regaurdless of what town you are in!
I was driving past that seen in photo with my children. It really upset me and my nine year old daughter who got a glimpse before I made them turn their heads. I can't believe that someone would take a picture and post it. You didn't have to see something like that to take the time to remind your kids to obey traffic signals and use the crosswalk.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family
10:33 WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I'm going to miss having class with you Kristen. You were a girl I looked up too. Who am i going to ask all my questions to when i have no idea what to do for an assignment. :( my thoughts are for your family.
