Incident: Assault

Location: 5300 block of Eastwood Circle, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Richard L. Clary, 46, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 23 June 2009 at 7:33 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office investigated an altercation that had taken place inside a residence in the 5300 block of Eastwood Circle. Upon arrival, the deputy met with witnesses who informed that deputy that Clary had been seen choking a female subject inside the residence. When the deputy located the alleged victim, the deputy observed indications that an assault had taken place and subsequently arrested Clary.
Clary was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Clary was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center in lieu of $5,000.00 bond.
Charges: Assault 2nd degree
