Just what we need, this town is a joke. Corporate Capitalism its going to kill us all.
Yes that's what checkers is Corporate Capitalism. Crawl back in your hole now.
more chain restaraunts. SBY is loaded with them.
driving through the town is one big neon sign.
their food is greasy, unhealthy, and tasty. This is a recipe for food addicts to continue the obesity rate of American.
hope business is good for them. since they are drive up/walk up only, i hope that means that the employees will be locked inside for their safety. not the best area at night there.
another junk food place. Line up to get your diabetes, heart diease and high blood pressure sandwichs. No wonder there are so many obese people on the eastern shore.
Oh great, more fast food poison.
Coming from across the bay, I have tasted the most unhealthy Big Buford. And I can tell you it's really good! Can't wait to get one in the near future.
Glad to see some jobs come in, but they certainly aren't a replacement for all of the good paying jobs that have been lost recently.
wonder how long it will take for them to get robbed!
I understand the most eloquent revrun Louis Farakan has ties to this chain. Can anyone confirm this?
Yes he will be in the back making the burgers. Really, you can't come up with anything better than that? The restaurant chain has over 1000 restaurants, the majority are franchised, so possibly, somewhere in Rev Farrakhan's financial portfolio, he may own one or even more. I am pretty sure he is not trying to poison all the white people with tainted hamburgers however. I think it is safe to eat there.......
What "good paying" jobs?
Do the windows have bulletproof glass?
Given that our past choices for "fast food" have been mostly burgers only", this chain offers an alternative to parking and purchasing a hot dog at the Sam's Club.
Patronize your local independent restaurants when you can and the franchises when you absolutely need to throw some feed into the inlet.
We should hold a contest for the area's THINEST hamburger patties.
I would rather play CHESS...

Who said anything about white people? I don't care if he owns one or 1000 I won't spend a nickle there if he is affiliated with it in any way. So get a life you liberal moron.
it sure is some negative people here. It must suck to hate everything.
I've heard Checkers has good food, I can't wait to try them.
I wish they'd bring a whataburger here, man 'what-a-burger'
thanks for posting Joe, I'll be there
and for you negative SOB's
go eat some rabbit food and shut-up
I went to checkers saturday. They have two drive thru's only one was open. I waited 45 minutes in line to finally get to the speaker box, they told me what i ordered (off the menu) wasnt served there. Because the guy taking the order couldn't figure how to ring it up. By the time my hour or so wait was over i had gotten the wrong food and no soda. What a waste of time.
Small towns, small minds, and even smaller comments. I come from a small town that had very few options for food under $15-$25 a plate. Nothing new ever opened and there were no job prospects (minimum or living wage), yet all I see here are complaints. If one of you would like to open a healthy alternative and create a couple of jobs paying more than the $0 dollars lots of folks are "making" right now - I'm sure many would welcome it. And for those talking about Capitalism, learn the meaning of franchise and the whole premise behind the American capitalist idea of achieving ones' goals. Ignorance is bliss when all you have to do is criticize someone else's decision to try to make a living. I'm not a huge fan of fast food, but for something quick it's an alternative that's been around for over 40 yrs. I'm glad I moved from my small town w/it's small minded,mean-spirited, miserable people. Poor Salisbury - I can see why it's a just a place where people pass thru. Oh, and was Opening Day lost on the person who waited an hour? My goodness the end of the world for food half of these folks don't think you should have the right to eat anyway. Poor, deprived baby.
Don't worry; it will be like all of the other restaurants that come here. It is good elsewhere, but when Salisbury people work there, who don't care, they will turn out gross food. Glad 2 b moving away.
There's nothing wrong with signs of growth in a recovering economy. New businesses opening doors--whether those doors are opened in Salisbury or Beverly Hills--is a good thing. There is also nothing wrong with fast food, in moderation. On my way to check out the restaurant.
