Joe although this is a nice gesture on behalf of the Govenor it is mearly a photo-op for him to look good. The headquarters complex and the pavilion that holds the fallen Troopers memorial was in shambles and overgrown with weeds and trees. It took the Troopers with their own money, equipment and time to make it presentable over 20k in time and materials were donated by the same Troopers that the Govenor has screwed. The state nor the state police administration gave a crap about the memorial. They would not even allow the DOC trustees to cut the weeds. It was the brotherhood of Troopers that stepped up and brought the memorial back to its formal glory.

The Col. & the Gov. are cut from the same cloth. This has been the worst Col. in twenty years. Almost as bad for the Gov.

God rest the souls of these brave men and women. I have nothing but respect for the Troopers. The Col. is destroying what great pride the Troopers share. The prior post said all i need to know about both of these men.
