Narrative: On 3 April 2009 at 9:34 PM, a deputy made contact with Terry W. Butler on the property of the WaWa store on N.Salisbury Blvd. During the encounter, the deputy observed that Butler dropped a small envelope on the ground. Upon checking the envelope, the deputy discovered it contained heroin. The deputy then located additional heroin filled envelopes inside Butler’s vehicle.
Butler was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Butler was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Disorderly Conduct

Suspect: Lester C. Sadberry, 48, Pittsville, MD
Narrative: On 4 April 2009 at 3:07 PM, deputies responded to a residence in the 35000 block of Old Ocean City Road in Pittsville for a reported disturbance. Upon the arrival of the deputy, Lester Sadberry was observed walking around in front of the residence screaming threats and obscenities. The deputy observed that Sadberry appeared visibly intoxicated. While the deputies were present, Sadberry refused requests to calm down and continued to act both disorderly and belligerently to others in the area.
Sadberry was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Sadberry was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Theft of Motor Vehicle
Date of Incident: 6 April 2009
Location: 5400 Airport Terminal Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Branden M. Morrison, 18, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 6 April 2009 at 7:15 PM, deputies form the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a Motor Vehicle accident on San Domingo Road in Mardela Springs. Upon arrival, the deputies discovered a minivan that had been left unattended after crashing into a ditch. Upon checking the registration, the deputies discovered the vehicle belonged to Avis Car rentals and was assigned to the rental shop at the Salisbury Wicomico Airport. During the investigation of this incident, the deputy located an individual in Sharptown, Branden Morrison, who identified himself as the individual who had been driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. During the deputy’s encounter with Morrison, he admitted to the deputy that he had stolen the vehicle.
Morrison was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Morrison was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000.00 bond.
