Don't tell me they are getting rid of the Thermal Imaging Camera's as well?
It was stated at the meeting that the cameras did not go with the truck. It did become ironclad clear, though, that this whole deal of giving away all the equipment with the truck was done without any council or taxpayer approval. One down, 4 trucks to go....
The SFD should have the decency to tell the FFs in Pittsville that those tools are worn out and unsafe, and some are too heavy as well. Aren't all FF's "family"?
Sell Pittsville the fire boat also.
Thats a huge expense which should NOT be going with the truck. That COULD of been put on the monster instead.
