Mayor Barrie Tilghman will hold a State of the City Address this Thursday in Council Chambers on PAC14 at noon.
The Mayor will discuss Citizen concerns as well as share her hopes for the future of the City of Salisbury.
No doubt her final attempt to push Gary Comegys one last time because they know he's toast.

Is this "Barrie's Farewell Address" or is that gem being saved for the last Council meeting when she is still the mayor?

You've done nothing but run this city into the ground. Announcing that you aren't running for mayor is the first good decision you've made as mayor.
Oh, she'll give all the usual compliments to the "council leadership" and Shanie, giving them credit for the things she fed them to do. Matter of fact, whenever she's handing out the credits for anything good in the city, you'll hear everyone mentioned except Debbie Campbell. Oh, and now Terry Cohen, too.
Barrie will tell you that she herself invented the wheel and that Gary suggested the shape.
I can save her some "air time". Salisbury is in deep Sh*t...Crime is out of control...There's no good paying jobs...the river is polluted with sewage...the slum lord's are getting rich and the police chief doesn't give a rat's a$$ about the citizens of Salisbury.
Just hearing her voice makes me sick.

Let me save you the time. The City is an absolute train wreck. It has crime that is out of control with prostitution, shootings, thefts and murders. A fire department that spends like there is no tomorrow with a volunteer running it. The services and the good employees are understaffed and working their heart out to keep us afloat. We have 70& rental properties and a Mare you cant trust. And finally we have Bubba, the modern day Jethro Bodine. What else could we ask for.
