Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On February 9, 2009 at approximately 11:21 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Giant Food Store on South Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers were advised by management personnel that the below listed suspect had been observed attempting to take meat items from the store without making payment. The suspect was apprehended and the property was returned to the store.

ARRESTED: Michael Malik Williams, 42 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900004392

On February 9, 2009 at approximately 6:56 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Best Buy Store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival the officers were advised by store management that the below listed two (2) suspects had been observed by store personnel attempting to take property from the store without making payment.

ARRESTED #1: Daniel Sanchez-Cardoso, 18 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

ARRESTED #2: Juvenile, 15 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES (Both): Theft (under $ 100)

DISPOSITION:
Suspect # 1 released to Central Booking CC # 200900004457
Suspect # 2 released to guardian

On February 9, 2009 at approximately 9:25 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Walmart Department Store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, the officers met with security personnel who advised that the below listed suspect had been observed attempting to take property from the store without making payment. The suspect was stopped and the property was recovered and returned to the store. The suspect gave the store personnel and the responding officers a false name, then resisted arrest.

ARRESTED: Sharon Machelle Warrington, 41 years of age Princess Anne, Maryland

CHARGES:
Theft (under $ 100)
Resisting arrest
False statement to a police officer
False statement

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200900004465

On February 7, 2009 at approximately 5:40 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Camden Avenue and Hazel Avenue and made contact with the below listed suspect. The suspect gave the officers consent to search his person, and during the search the officers located a baggie containing suspected cocaine residue in the suspect’s pants pocket. The suspect was placed under arrest.



ARRESTED: Mark (nmn) Cabell, 49 years of age



CHARGES: Possession of cocaine

Possession of CDS/paraphernalia



DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On February 7, 2009 at approximately 9:58 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were working in an undercover capacity in the area of Elizabeth Street and Railroad Avenue and met with the below listed suspect. The suspect sold the undercover officer an amount of suspected “crack”/cocaine. The suspect was allowed to walk from the area then was located, identified and arrested.

ARRESTED:Dexter Alfonso Kess, Sr., 53 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Distribution of cocaine
Possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute
Possession of cocaine

I guess you don't watch cops on tv? alot of idiots let the cops search them knowing they have drugs on them...or maybe they were just too high to remember they still had some left. rather or not there was something wrong with the search..at least there is one less drug addict/dealer witch ever on the streets

anonymous 958 get a life...man/woman whatever you decide to choose. Criminals should be locked up....maybe someone being searched and arrested for drugs hits too close to home...too much like a relative of yours?
