I seems even Exxon nor any other Gas Company can put a fire out on water with water but Gary Comegys is convinced, you just give him $860,000.00 worth of fire boat and let me tell you, he'll not just part the Wicomico River and walk on water, he'll figure out a way to put that fuel fire out with water. So Gary, how many men does it take to man that Yacht? What does it cost to maintain that Yacht? Ladies & Gentlemen, the average maintenance on a Vessel like this is at least 15% a year too. That's around $129,000.00 a year in maintenance! Oh, sorry, they forgot to mention that too. Does that come with the Grant Money too? Gary Comegys will bring you to the promise land, you just wait and see.

I was sitting at Civic Ave at the stop light crossing rte 50 approx 5:30 pm last night.Then this massive fire engine truck was heading east on rte.50.Truck was going about 15 mph.I looked to the wife and said there goes Comegys pet toy.where it was going I have no idea.There were no sirens sounding and or extra fire vehicles with it.What a waste of taxpayers money.

What that new truck cant be a boat!! as well when needed ? So why did we spend all that money on it ? Thats right because the duty crew has missed used T-2,and ragged it out. Man free coffee and ice cream just got expensive at wawa!! way to go SFD ADMIN. Hey what about those seg-ways that were bought to get from one end of the new station to the other man you talk about waste of money and being lazy!!!!! looks like most of you need the walking , and i mean walking papers!!!! Yep!!!!!! iam mad my tax dollars hard at work !!! cant get safe clean streets or roads with no pot holes or good city services but we can waste money on a much un needed truck!!

Anonymous 10:50 - Tower 16 was out at that time for in-service driver's training - we had a pre-determined course we were required to drive in an effort to continue to assist the potential FADO's (Fire Apparatus Driver Operator) to be proper and effective drivers, preparing for the time she is put in service - during the time frame of which you speak, I, along with 2 volunteers and 5 other career members completed another requirement of the entire certification process - I certainly hope the citizenry we serve expect the FADO's to be thoroughly trained and tested prior to being placed behind the wheel and responding to emergency calls for service - JLJ
He can Part the water or Walk on it for all I care. Anyone can Walk on water when it is frozen. But in this case, the river is so poluted, he could probably still walk on it even when it is not frozen. It would probably still hold him up. And if not,,you know the old saying...crap floats...
He would still be ok.
