Date of Incident: 20 February 2009
Location: Civic Avenue at Wyman Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Andrew Raymond Jackson, 35, Salisbury, MD

Narrative: On 20 February 2009
at 8:56 PM, a deputy from the WCSO stopped a vehicle on Civic Avenue for an equipment violation. Upon making contact with the occupants, the deputy observed the passenger to be eating potato chips from a bag while he appeared nervous by the presence of the deputy. A WCSO K9 team arrived and scanned the vehicle for the odor of illegal drugs. During the scan the K9 alerted positively to that odor in the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, the deputy located individually wrapped baggies of cocaine inside the bag of potato chips the passenger was eating from. Due to the individual wrapping of the baggies, they appeared destined for sale. Based on these findings, the passenger, Andrew Raymond Jackson, was arrested.

The deputy transported Jackson to the Central Booking unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Jackson was held in the Detention Center in lieu of $75,000.00 bond.

doug, this latest arrest makes me wonder about how the courts are using nicole as an example. i firmly believe the charges to be an unjust exagerration of the truth and i find it incredibly hard to believe that nicole would be that careless and that non-chalant with her life and the lives of her two children. or perhaps, as i am loathe to wonder, perhaps nicole has finally given up and thrown in the towel. i certainly hope not.its hard to live down a troubled past, i, too,am well aquainted with that painful aspect of life. nicole needs to regain her confidence and her sense of worth. she still has a lot to offer this world.

and to the anonymous person who left the "deadbeat parent" comment...are you in such a position to judge? have you walked in the shoes of those people you so quickly condemn? have you ever had to make a single hard moral choice in your holier-than-thou life? sometimes people do the wrong things for all the right reasons.regardless, if you don't know the reasons for an individuals behavior, then you have the decency to keep your derogatory opinions to yourself. "anonymous",yet opinionated,whatever...
