After this blog exposed Insley’s diatribe directed at Mr. Comegy’s main opponents in Salisbury’s upcoming mayoral election, the Daily Times’ city reporter (Laura D’Alessandro) wrote an article about the Insley’s letter to his tenants that reiterated the essence of his slime and quoted Comegys and the other candidates mentioned above. Unlike Bob Caldwell and Jim Ireton, who described Insley’s conduct for what it is – “despicable” (Mr, Caldwell’s term) – Comegys actually welcomed Insley’s support and action.
This clearly confirms that Comegys’ collaboration with certain landlords like Insley is alive and well, which is not surprising under the circumstances. Unless a substantial number of their tenants can be conned into voting for Comegys (and against their own best interest), he has no chance of becoming Salisbury’s next mayor. His yeoman service in support of Barrie Tilghman’s tax and sewer and water fee increases, and other episodes too numerous to recount in this post, make him by far the worst candidate in the race – for both homeowners and tenants. He even once supported a new “food tax,” before he voted against it.
The landlords of Insley’s ilk need Comegys in the mayor’s office to continue the special treatment that the current Tilghman administration has afforded them. That’s why we can see all those yard signs with Comegys’ name at their rental homes. Many of them had signs for Comegys in the City elections in 2003 and 2007, when he ran for the Council.
Insley and a certain group of landlords who control SAPOA need Comegys to be the next mayor as much as he needs them to support him by duping their tenants into voting for him. If he does not renounce the action that Insley has taken on behalf of him in both this and other City elections, they deserve each other and the wrath of all voters on March 3rd.

We all know the slumlords need a ""puppet on a stick" and that puppet is Comegys. This "puppet" will do as they say, when they say and that is precisely what Comegys does. If he only knew how foolish he sounds and looks but "puppets" can't think, can they?

I think the coverage of this issue even though some was misinformation has opened the light to the truth and how much voters are manipulated by SAPOA.

Wake up citizens of Salisbury. This man has been bought by the slumlords and its out there for all to see. Our City has declined so much in 12 years that you can hardly recognize it. Mr Insley is the poster child for slumlords. Our city has 70% rental properties which is not good. Mr Comegys would allow the slumlords to continue eroding our neighborhoods and breeding crime. Please make the right choice and elect either Ireton or Caldwell. Either would do a good job. The future of your city depends on it.
Comegys wont back away. The man knows how to work the system. He is well aware that Insley and friends will pave the way for him as Mayor. The big business machine gets what it wants. Just look at the list of contributors. These are all people who are use to getting their way. Comegys is the perfect candidate for them. He's a Tilghman clone and he can be controled. Its business as usual for them. If he had an ounce of moral fortitude, he would separate himself from SAPOA. Theres not another candidate that would openly support rentals and the deteriation of our City. Not one. Candidates like Jim Ireton,Caldwell,Campbell,Chaney support strong neighborhoods and home ownership. This inturn makes a safer,cleaner and viable City. Mr Comegys has sold his soul to become Mayor.
Hes never owned his soul, once youve seen it you are obligated to live your life by the rules and morals that it shows you. This man has never looked into his Mirror of Life, and thats sad for any person.

You are right about the same fools running Greenhill into the ground but wrong about Insley being there. He is still on his 2 month stay in Florida. Alot of good people would probably go to Greenhill if such fools were not in control; they don't want the good people.
Comegys should ask himself, "Why do the slumlords support me?" His honest answer will have to be, "They support me because I'm weak. They know I won't stand up for what's right and I can be easily controlled. I am a farce." He has to know his intelligence and his ethics are at low levels. Only his ego is well above average.

There needs to ba a law that you can own no more than 2 stand alone rentals in the city of Salisbury.
This will help take the slum out of these sleeze balls.
The Salisbury firefighters are not throwing any support in his direction. That should tell you something. Who knows him better than they do.

Comegys is more than just dispicable. The man is stupid and arrogant too boot! Vote for two others as someone said, in the primary, and that will end Bubba's run right there.

I don't know how Greenhill's kitchen passes health inspections. Everything is so old I would assume it protected by the grandfather clause.
In their case the great grandfather clause. At least the last time I was in there it was like that. Not saying the food's not good but it depends on who's cooking.
Up to date sanitary conditions, Na. Can't blame the kitchen manager or chef though if he isn't given the proper tools to work with.
