BART Cop Kills Un-Armed Man Laying Face Down!

Martial Law has come to California, and it citizens have no recourse.
On New Years Day at about 2:30 am the BART train coming in from San Francisco where many had been to see the fire works display was pretty full.
At some point a scuffle broke out between a group of friends. The security system is in the tunnel is pretty sophisticated, and cops met the train at the next stop know as Fruitvale, Ca. Three men were pointed out by the officers and asked to step off . Once off they were told to sit on the ground, according to the video on scene they complied.
One of the men who was seated in the middle was saying something to the cops and was abruptly thrown down on his stomach and handcuffed.
During the entire time the passengers on the train had full view of the events transpiring and many of them had cell phones that were recording the whole thing.

After the man was handcuffed there was a lot of yelling coming from the passengers and the cops were trying to get control over them as well, when for no apparent reason the officer who assisted in the cuffing pulled out his firearm and shot the man dead.

Passengers with cell phones that videoed the indecent were asked to hand over their phones but none complied. If you YouTube 'BART Cop Shoots un armed man' you can watch dozens of different angles from dozens of phones that were there that night.

According to one report I was reading, a very interesting thing happened over last few years... President Bush wanting to fortify Homeland Security made a couple of very unusual hires for top level positions.

On March 17, 2003 Bush hired "the former head of the KGB (the secret police of the former Soviet Union), General Yevgeni Primakov," as a consultant to the US Department of Homeland Security.

Primakov joined another Russian, Oleg Kalugin, KGB (Ret) with the Department of State Security, also as a part of Homeland Security.
On January 1, 2005 Kalugin was replaced with the infamous and sinister Silver Fox himself (his former CIA code name), Gen. Markus Wolf. "Wolf was the head of the international intelligence gathering arm (HVA) of East Germany's Ministry for State Security, or Stasi."
This went a long way toward perfecting the spying and wiretapping of the entire USA, and insured that Americans would become the next victims of State Terrorism ala the USSR and Communist East Germany."
Jim Kirwin 1-12-09 of Rense.com ... Before the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, there were clear procedures in place for peace officers to follow in the execution of their duties. No officer was allowed to become judge, jury and executioner; much less without first arresting the individual that might be suspected of a crime. Also, when a murder was committed, and witnessed, an arrest warrant was issued: there was simply no-way that a suspected murderer would or could be given an option as to whether or not he or she would answer questions. The accused had to be offered the services of an attorney, but the police always had the right to arrest the person with the weapon, after that weapon had been shown to be the murder weapon.
Why is no one but the family and friends of this man outraged? Why did the hundreds of people on the train run for their lives from four officers and not run to the officers and demand that they arrest this officer?

What has happened to our country that we are afraid of the people who we pay to protect us and then we are afraid of them when we do nothing wrong? All is not well in Lala Land.

They have been rioting around the country since this happened, especially in Oakland. I have watched the videos. I understand force is necessary sometimes when dealing with drunk arrests ( I read he was drinking while on the platform or had come from a party- this was NYE) but this does seem crazy. I can't believe it's okay for anyone to take someone else's life in such an unwarranted manner. It's not like the cop was alone. The scene was under control from what I could see.

Right now, the cops are hiding behind their badges and not giving comments. I also disagree with that but perhaps investigations are happening and just being kept private. We don't know the whole situation with that.

Sad event either way.

This is a sad situation . The
lawyers in our country have made this happen , i.e.- murderers
get off with a few years of detention and a degree in law.
We have paid for this , drug
dealers get off with a fine .
Who can you trust?

Yes Wymzie, you figured it out! The police has been given secret powers by The Dept of Homeland Security(AKA: the former KGB) to become Judge Dred! (Sarcastically)

Joe i understand having differant writers on your web site to make it interesting but i think Wymzie really damages the reputation of sbynews with her looney blog articals.

W,

While a lot of what you say in this post is factual, some of your information is not. Mr. Grant was not handcuffed before he was murdered. The police cuffed him as he lay dying.

No one knows exactly who was involved in the so called fight.

Some of the passengers did hand over the phones, the ones that you see on YouTube choose not to. The difference being that the police did not (would not0 show these videos in an attempt to suppress the evidence?

Everyone is outraged at this murder. You can read several dozen articles about it one the internet. No one ran from the officers during the murder. The different videos attest to this fact. Why didn’t anyone run to the police and demand that they arrest the officer? They just murdered someone for no cause do you think they won’t arrest you for something even less.

The supposition by experts reviewing the video is that the officer intended to taser him and reached for the wrong weapon.

If you look at the officer's face it's pretty evident he is as shocked by what he did as anyone. Not to excuse incredibly sloppy weapon handling, but in practical terms it was hardly an "execution" in terms of the officers intent.

What has happened? We are afraid of our government, that's what has happened. And for very good reason! Look what it does abroad. We understand the message. These people who run our government are wicked evil - and most of us know better than to mess with them. That's also why we willingly hand over all of our money to them without a whimper. We know full well what will happen to us! Keep your head low folks.

i dont even know what to say. this is a travesty. condolences to his family. the police officer belongs in jail.

they are saying he thought it was his taser. His pistol probably had to be cocked, right? Are we supposed to believe that a bullet was already chambered and that he accidentily pulled back the hammer?

where are the answers?

Oh OK. The policeman only meant to torture him with electrocution. Taser him. Not kill him.

Well then, now that's OK!

Is there any way we could get on a list somehow, so that, we could simply go down to the local police station and let them taser us a couple of times? Then, maybe we could wear a "get out of tasering free" bracelet or something so the police know that we have already taken the medicine.

No thanks, I got tasered last week!

Maybe I could take a couple of tasers for some of my family members - so they don't have to be tasered in the future.

That cop should be made to wear an ankle bracelet and spend months on end locked inside a posh million dollar condominium in downtown New York City. That will teach him a thing or two.

old news folks and no one knows what was said by the dead gut .

we obviously have someone on here who knows nothing about firearms. Weapons used for protection are always cocked. Most don't even require cocking any more, they are chamber the second the slide is racked and its ready to go. TV makes people thjink that cops have to run around and rack the slide every time they pull the gun out. Its already done and ready to go.
