"I WANT TO KNOW WHO TRULY DOES THERE HOMEWORK WHEN THEY CHOOSE OUR EMS PROVIDERS. I HAVE SOMEONE VERY CLOSE TO ME THAT WORKS FOR HART TO HEART AMBULANCE SERVICE OUT OF SALISBURY THAT HAS ALLEGEDLY SEXUALLY HARASSED AND ASSAULTED BY A EMT-I BY THE NAME OF GARY ALLEN MICHAEL.
HE NOT ONLY ALLEGEDLY SEXUALLY HARASSED 1 FEMALE BUT 2. HE ALLEGEDLY IMPERSONATED ANOTHER EMT TO HELP OVER THE PHONE HARASS THESE LADIES AS WELL AS LIKE I STATED ABOVE ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED 1 OF THESE LADIES. NOW THIS FEMALE IS ALLEGEDLY BEING LEFT NO OPTIONS BUT TO WORK SIDE BY SIDE WITH THIS SICKO WHO BY THE WAY ALLEGEDLY HAS NAKED PICS OF HIS OWN DAUGHTER ON HIS CELL PHONE THAT HE HAS ALLEGEDLY SHARED WITH SEVERAL EMPLOYEES AT HART TO HEART BRAGGING ABOUT IT.
HART TO HEART HAS NOT DONE RIGHT BY THIS FEMALE AS WELL AS OUR LEGAL SYSTEM SUCKS IN PROTECTING HER. HART TO HEART ALLEGEDLY SAYS ALL THEY CAN DO IS SUSPEND HIM FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER ALL THESE WRITTEN COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN MADE. HE WILL ALLEGEDLY HAVE TO SIGN A LETTER SAYING I WONT DO IT AGAIN. SO WHERE'S THESE OTHER EMPLOYEES PROTECTION TO WHAT THEY'VE HAD TO ENDURE. THE HUMILIATION AROUND THE OFC. THE JOKES. THE SELF WORTH. THE STRESS IT HAS PUT THEM THROUGH AS WELL AS FEAR OF LOSING THEIR JOB FOR STEPPING UP TRYING TO GET SOMETHING DONE.
MY FRIEND WAS LEFT NO OTHER OPTION BUT TO PRESS CHARGES TO HELP PROTECT HER SAFETY SINCE THE COMPANY SHE WORKS FOR ALLEGEDLY JUST WANTED TO SWEEP IT UNDER THE RUG AND ALLEGEDLY GOT CAUGHT IN TRYING TO DO SO. FYI ONE HAND BETTER WATCH WHAT THE OTHER HAND IS DOING.
HART TO HEART ALLEGEDLY FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS VIA 3 HAND WRITTEN REPORTS AS WELL AS SEVERAL OTHER NAMES THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE INTERVIEWED AND NEVER WERE. THEY ALLEGEDLY CLAIMED THEY WOULD HANDLE THE SITUATION BUT ALLEGEDLY AS OF 1/8/09 NOTHING STILL HAD BEEN HANDLED.
THE ASSAULT ALLEGEDLY HAPPENED ON 11/19/08. ANYONE KNOW A GOOD LAWYER THAT WOULD TAKE THIS CASE. THIS NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT TO EVERYONE'S ATTENTION HE MAY BE TAKING CARE OF YOUR MOTHER, DAUGHTER, SISTER, FRIEND, AUNT, GRANDMOTHER NIECE, COUSIN ETC.
CHARGES HAVE BEEN PRESSED FOR SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT WITH THE SHERIFFS DEPT."

Not only do they drop patients at the hospital, they hire idiots like that? WTF?! What a great company to work for. NOT!!!!!
Looks like they won't be able to keep this one out of court. From what I hear, they have a few lawsuits pending that are being kept out of court for drops of patients. They cant even transfer patients form bed to stretcher in the hospital by themselves now. They have to have staff do it for them. Funny how PRMC never had any problems when Lifestar was the company with the contract.
I had to be transported from PRMC to JHH. PRMC had Heart to Heart do the transporting which was in the middle of the night. It was a neck injury which had caused temporary paralysis which was why getting to JHH was so important. On the drive there the driver stopped at Dunkin Donuts in Cambridge which was closed. They went on to Easton where they found something open. Everyone went inside to get something to drink. When they returned the one who was in the back with me told me he had gotten me something also. He put a straw in the bottle and attempted to give me a sip but the bottle was too full. What happened next shocked me. He took the straw out and drank some so that it wouldn't spill when he tried it again. Yes, it was nice of them to think of me BUT there was no way I was going to drink after someone I didn't know. When we finally arrived at JHH they had been waiting for us for over an hour. Once Heart to Heart left I told the nurse why we had been late. She was shocked. She told my doctor who told me that under the circumstances they never should of stopped except for an emergency. Due to the injury time was very important to make sure I got the attention which was needed. I would never ever use them again!

As a former commercial ambulance attendant I have to honestly say that Lifestar is in NO way better than Heart to Hart.
I don't work for Heart to Hart or LifeStar. But honestly, LifeStar employees will post the most rediculous of stuff on here because H2H came to town and took over all the facilities.

Firs let me make one thing clear. EMS stands for Emergency Medical Services and Heart to Heart or what ever it is referred to does not provide Emergency Medical Services. They are nothing more than a body hauler that performs what is more affectionately referred to as the Wrinkle Butt Shuffle. This means there normal business is taking mom mom or pop pop from a nursing home to a doctors appointment. Many of these so called EMT's are not experienced or qualified to handle a real emergency such as a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

R. Chapman never worked for Hart to Heart . Hart to Heart bought Lower Shore Ambulance Service. He never worked for Hart to Heart and never hired anyone associated with Hart to Heart.
I'd like to ask what the difference between sudden cardiac arrest and regular cardiac arrest is? NONE. Obviously written by somebody who knows nothing. Granted, there are some dastardly folks in private EMS, however they receive the EXACT same training as 911 providers. In fact, some do private EMS on the side for extra money. Knowledge is power, weakling!
I see these companies everyday and know most of the people who work for them. Lifestar is way above all the others from what I see. Heart to Heart employees a lower grade of person and thats fact. They are rejects and unwanteds from other fire companies. You will often find their units squirelling emergency calls locally. Its not unusual to see their unit near a scene watching or trying to participate.Lifestar runs a tight ship because Jackie and Bruce demand it. I am not in the transport business and have no axe to grind with either. My field is primary care provider and not transport company. Ask anyone in the business and they will tell you the same.
anaon 1:32 please be advised that yes cardiac arrest is not different yet having a provider with the skills to treat and correct that problem to the best of there skills is the difference. Maybe three bls personnel and the medics that work there are able to treat a real problem. the rest of them are just rejects who cant make it anywhere. It is truly pitiful if you look at the general skill level of the staff and there knowledge of protocols and so forth. Now on hart to heart as a company the story gets even worse. Basically those people who are incompetent from across that big ditch try to screw and cheap skate everyone they can. These comments are not meant to ne hateful yet however they were meant to bring out the truth in that regard. Now on the subject at hand. Gary Michael has been sexually harassing people at this place for a long tome. its about time someone stood up for themselves. the matter with the pictures of his daughter is his own perverted business. feel free to comment on my OPINIONS.
How old is his daughter he ALLEGEDLY has naked pictures of? Maybe the Child Advocacy Center would be interested in that?

You don't want to match wits with me moron. Do hate me because your illiterate self is not good enough to get a job as a real paramedic or EMS provider. Knowledge IS everything you weakling. There is a difference in training vs. education and obviously an education is something you lack. By the way where did you get your "training" from.
When you get that education, which I doubt you ever will, you tell us what a Sudden Cardiac Arrest is. "A regualar cardiac arrest." You are an embarrassment to the profession. By the way I bet you have never worked a cardiac arrest in your life. You would more than likely poop in your pants if a patient ever crashed on you.

Hart to heart does not care for the patients or the employees. All they care about is the money. As a former employee there,I now this for a fact!
Hart to Heart is a company with out a heart. They are money grubbing and care less about loyal employees. All they care about is how much they can get out of a patient, not what is best for the patient. I know this for a fact because I used to be employed there.
This bunch of jabronies wanted to transport my father in law from PRMC to Health South in his own feces. The driver was upset when I insisted that they wait for him to be cleaned up first. If thats all the compasion they can muster they are in the wrong business. It appears true the money is the motive and if you can't offer dignified transport of the elderly I don't want to find out what would happen in an emergency. If a little poop bothers your employees i would hate to see what would happen if the preverbial shit really hit the fan.
I would not agree that Lifestar Is a good Company at all!... I have not worked for any of the above mentioned companies however i did work for one for 4 years. About a year and a half ago we had a call from a lifestar BLS unit stating that they were about to run out of oxygen and asked if they could borrow some of our's and return it on their way back through. Our owner agreed and when we met up with them we seen that they were going lights and sirens with a Hospice DNR-B PT that was on a NC at 2 LPM, With a chest tube... First off since when is a DNR-B a priority? secondly They should have had enough O2 and the bread winner- since when is a chest tube BLS? NEVER! Those providers should not be holding their cards today!
