While the Travel Lodge Inn parking lot is completely empty, so are the donations to the Salisbury Zoo!
You see, the Salisbury Zoo gets a percentage of ALL Hotel/Motel Rooms within Wicomico County. So while they were enjoying the additional income from the prostitution business, now the Taxpayers might get hit up again because of the recent raids on the prostitution going on in Salisbury.
No Room Rentals, No Food For The Animals. So if you love animals, prove it by hiring one of your own prostitutes and tell your Wife you made a donation to the Salisbury Zoo.
Their new Bumper Stickers should say, "GET HOOKED ON THE SALISBURY ZOO."

Now that's funny.
I think it is time to say goodbye to the zoo. Although it runs in large part by donations, the city also contributes a great deal to keep it running. because of its size, we get the old deformed animals that no other zoo wants. What is the point of having a zoo when you have to go through prostitutes, drug dealers and thugs to get there? It's time public safty comes first!
get rid of the zoo??? Where else are we supposed to take our kids to enjoy and safe, CHEAP day out. After the zoo head over to Ben's Red Swings... it's ashame that getting rid of the zoo is the answer instead of dealing with the "drug dealers" There aren't many things out there to do with you children around here and I think it's absurd to take the zoo away.. That's just giving in to the shit side society!!!
I think most of the prostitutes and other individuals that take residance at these low budget hotels dont have cars to put in the parking lots

I agree but thank your judicial system for this deteriation of security. A lot, 95%, of the Police think they are to good to do fundamental Police work. There is not enough recognition and they cannot use their creative writing for convictions. The Chiefy and his leadership does not want to recognize gangs and their activity. This is also because the Courts don't want to fool with it and let them back on the streets with no penalty, pick up trash in the streets, keep the park clean are some ideas. I can think of a lot more butthen itwill make them do laborous work.
Don't blow the whistle to fast. I rode by today and saw several prostitutes and drug users at lunch time. Take one off and two fill their spots
3:03, have you tried that sandy place with water just east of here? You should, my kids do love it for a cheap place to enjoy yourself. But I do agree, the Zoo and Ben's is a nice place. There is too much trash though and they really need to spruce it up.

Seriously, think about it. If we eliminate drugs, prostitution, and crime, we would have to downsize our law enforcement nationwide. We have the power to stop drugs coming in from other countries. There is plenty of law enforcement to stop prostitution and drugs.
They're still getting thier money. The population of the chesapeake and thrift travel inns have relocated down to the temple hill on the south end of town. Two nights after the big eviction i saw something ive never seen before. NO VACANCY sign on at the temple hill. And now if you travel down kay ave (between temple hill and pnc bank) they even have a bus parked there to transport them to work in the morning. If you really want to believe (sorry im an xfiles fan) you can check out the 6 pair of shoes outside all the rooms in the back. The front is queit but once you get to the rear of the motel, you cant miss em.
