This morning there were only two lanes open on the Bay Bridge. One east bound and one west bound. They have since opened 2 lanes heading west but only one lane remains heading east. The photo above shows the crane attempting to take the Tractor Trailer out of the water.

Perfect example of an idiot driver playing with his phone and driving at the same time!!!
Nice try but it was stop and go traffic on the Bay Bridge at the time.
Besides, it's NOT illegal to take a picture while driving.
Not illegal to tie your shoes while driving either, but none of us would want the guy next to us doing it on the road.

somebody died here, it was early in the morning man just out trying to support his family, the roadways are deadly, we all no that. i hope his family is o.k. i hope they get threw this best they can. i am sorry for your lose, memories are forever.

There was no attempting about it. The tractor and trailer was lifted from the water and put aboard a barge.

As I predicted the truck went off the bridge trying to avoid a head on collision.
When I went over the bridge last night a 1810 westbound, traffic was moving normally in both direction. (three lanes eastbound, two lanes westbound)
