Isabella Street In One Year

Look how Mayor Tilghman partnered up with that Idiot Gary Comegys with the SHA and decided to BLOW taxpayer money on yet what has now proven to be an Idiotic idea. I don't care if it came from Grant money or local tax dollars, clearly this was a stupid idea and is making the City of Salisbury looks like the slum that it is.

Again, I challenge this Administration to tell me ONE THING they have done good for the TAXPAYERS in the City of Salisbury in the past 10 years?

What's up with that? Did they PAINT faux-bricks onto the road???

Whatever has been accomplished, and there must be SOMETHING, certainly doesn't negate ALL the deterioration that has occured during BPT's leadership. It's probably not her fault, maybe she did the best she knew how. Lets just make a POINT of electing someone who KNOWS more this time. Good intentions aren't enough.

One word comes to mind and it reminds me of dinglebarrie.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that actually the Lake street/Route 50 intersection? It doesn't really make a difference because the painted brick still looks like crap, but calling it isablella street is still inaccurate.

"Isabella Street In One Year"

Joe's point is that is what Isabella Street will look like in about a year. It is like a decal that was applied via heat from a torch and it looks like shit and hard to maintain. My guess is that the "decal" wasn't meant for streets with a lot of traffic. Can someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It looked fairly good in the beginning, but it still looks fake. Sort of like Pergo flooring.

I wonder how it holds up when the snow plows do their thing in the winter time.

It's fake just like barrie, bubba and louweasel!

That is not painted bricks, that is brickprint
THERMOPLASTIC which is a very expensive material, as the business i own installs it (not for the city, for private parking lots!). Properly installed it should last years and years, hence it's pricyness. Some city dudball probably didnttake the time to heat it up to the proper temperature. When heated up to the correct temperature and applied to the pavement it should withstand 60,000 cars a day for many years.

This city administration spent money on shit like this while letting the police down, they got half their raise, then Gary, Shanie and Louise voted down on the other half of that raise in that budget after the elections. Police got robbed. Firemen too. I'm sure they won't forget that come election time.

They had their seat why should they care? Those who were fooled in 2007 won't let that happen in 2009. The money for those fake bricks could have went to the police with a few cuts elsewhere.
