Salisbury Police Department Press Release

On July 10, 2008 at approximately 2:55 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department arrested the below listed suspect following an investigation of check fraud and theft. An investigation revealed that the below listed suspect had stolen checks from a victim under the suspect’s care. The suspect then forged and cashed the checks.

ARRESTED: Laverne Denise Kellam, 45 years of age Hebron, Maryland

CHARGES:
Forgery (3 counts)
Issuance of false documents (3 counts)
Theft scheme (over $ 500)

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800022853

On July 10, 2008 at approximately 7:55 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were in the area of Baker and Anne St. and placed the below listed suspect under arrest pursuant to a Wicomico County Circuit Court Indictment charging the suspect with the distribution of fake C.D.S.

ARRESTED: Andre Matthew Cook, 36 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Criminal indictment – Distribution of fake C.D.S.

DISPOSITION: Released to Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office CC # 200800024507

On July 10, 2008 at approximately 10:00 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations in the area of Ohio Avenue and Waverly Drive. During the stop, the officers detected the scent of suspected marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The suspect was also found to be driving without a license. The vehicle was checked and the officers located a bag of suspected marijuana.

ARRESTED: Alfred Timothy Bratton, 39 years of age Lewes, Delaware

CHARGES:
Possession of marijuana
Driving while suspended
