Yes I can say 100% the attempts to get the crime off the streets have visable signs of success. Our street is quieter, kids playing loud instead of the cursing is a great alternative. Less traffic because the "drug store" on the corner isn't operating as often and I have not come home to see a prostitute doing their public service in front of my house in broad daylight. I'm not a prude by anymeans but I don't want to see the act in a truck in front of my house. I go out of my way to thank any Salisbury Police officer I come in contact with. Note to the City Council just because it is better doesn't mean there is no crime here so don't lighten up.
