Atlantic Tractor Got Hammered By Theft!
Atlantic Tractor is the John Deere Dealership by the Shorebirds Stadium just off Rt. 50. Here's what I've been told. Get this! They didn't just come in there and steal large equipment on Saturday night! They came BACK on Sunday and did it again!
Allegedly the tractor trailer was found in Hagerstown and I'm also told they have them on video stealing the stuff too. NONE of this has made it to the Press so you're getting beginning information on what I'm sure will turn out to be very big news.
They took zero turn mowers, you name it. Very expensive equipment. Let's see where this leads us in the next day or two. Since it's too late for the Daily Times to do much of anything, expect a story in about two days from them on this one. :-)

I think thats not the first time for them. They used big trucks stolen form next door to haul the loot last time.
what no alarm system, how they get around that? they dont keep the expensive mowers outside do they?
IT'S BEEN ONE WEEK TODAY THAT THE ROYAL FARMS WAS ROBBED. THE TWO THAT ROBBED THE STORE THAT NIGHT ARE STILL AT LARGE. THE TWO THEY CAUGHT WERE THE GET AWAY DRIVERS. IT'S A SHAME THE PEOPLE IN BALTIMORE (WHERE THE OFFICE IS.) FIRED THE GIRL THAT WAS WORKING THAT NIGHT.SHAME ON YOU JOHN KEMP. YOU WORK IN A STORE LIKE THAT TO MAKE A LIVING AND THAT'S HOW THEY TREAT YOU.
I didn't know that A.S.A.P. had a location in Hagerstown!

Whatever happened to the police doing business and door checks like they used to do at night and on week-ends? In the State Police we called them patrol checks and logged them with the PCO at the barrack.
Joe, I have tons of respect for you and the many many hours of hard work you put into this blog. I have also noticed the tremendous change in you in the recent months. Please please do us all a huge favor and GIVE UP on the Daily Slime bashing. Honestly I think it is a waste of your time. We all know where to come for quality "on time" news. They will only get pleasure with your again and again bashing.....it is sooo not worth your time!! We love ya Daily Slime or not...once again...you should know...the early bird gets the worm and you are definitely the early bird!! Rock on Sby News!

This has been going on with Atlantic Tractor/Tyndalls for the last 15 years that I can remember. There is nothing that can be done to stop this type of theft unless they park the equipment inside a locked,alarmed building. Anyone can go up start these mowers and drive off with them. And as far as the police, the state police do not have enough troopers to sit on a building night after night, and the sheriff's dept is handling a majority of the criminal calls which is stressing them. Not enough manpower to handle the crime in this county from the city on out. This is a crime of oppurtunity and random. It has been going on for years and most likely will continue.
