There was a serious accident early this morning on Susan Beach Rd and Providence Church Rd where someone neglected to stop at a stop sign and the two vehicles collided.
The problem has always been, lack of markings and small stop signs. There have been several deaths where Spring Hill Rd and Susan Beach Rd meet Rt. 54, (Line Rd). Changes are in the works in which we'll detail at a later date but I can assure you they are for the better and accidents like this should be a thing of the past thanks to the Delmar4 Fire Chief Shawn Johnson. FYI -------- In Delaware it's called DelDOT, not S.H.A. S.H.A. is in Maryland.
