Courageous Christopher 5k Update!

From Christopher's Mother,

To date we have 179 registrants. We have planned an amazing family friendly post race party with 4 bounce houses, sunshine the clown, face painting, snow cone, cotton candy, popcorn machines, a pig roast, Music by "Red No Blue", pizza, ice cream truck, fire truck, puppet show and much more. We have prizes for the top 3 in each age group and the top 3 male and top 3 female overall runners. We also have a host of prizes to be drawn at random from Bib numbers at the post race party. We are thrilled with the support our community has shown and can't wait for the event!

Now folks, not only is this going to be a great race it is going to be even more of an amazing social event for an amazing cause. 179 enterants is a large field for a local 5k which is not established year to year. I would love to see this field get even bigger! Pencil in this event and come out, even if your not running. The post race party will be a great event to bring the whole family out to!

Remember, walkers, strollers, and even doggies are invited to run along with Christopher. The date of the event is Saturday May 17 at Asbury Church on Camden. Raceday registration begins at 8:30 and the race goes off at 10:00.
