Actually, Joe, I just checked court records and he did only get charged with 4 counts, of con-theft of over $500.00, so he probably, will just get PBJ, it's a shame, when others that have gotten similar crimes have received $500.00 less and received jail time, but that's our system.

I was wondering, are you even allowed to leave the state? I would hope that would have been a stipulation on him awaiting a trial for such a large theft.
I dont think he's allow to leave the state {legally} IMO they charged him with a low dollar amount in the begining, not knowing how deep it was. If they charged him with $3000. and he only stole $2000. then he could get "not guilty" right? I believe they can come back and change the charges before the case is closed.
The Fed's could also decide to charge him if it gets into a felony theft charge. I think prosecuters are making sure to connect the dots from all the people that were questioned, dot all the "i's" and cross all of the "t's".

Thanks for that correction Grand dad. One thing is for sure if he gets sent to federal court he will need $40,000 in attorney fees just to start off, and he won't find one good enough here on the shore if we are talking theft of big money.

Ray Lewis is guilty as sin. So is Kenny Townsend and that other guy, his assistant Toma whatever his name is. There is no love lost between me and Ray Lewis but if we're going to slam one thief lets slam them all. Ray paid for what his stolen goods. Kenny and his assistant were paid for helping him steal. His driver is a dumbass if he hauled stolen goods for $60 a load. He should go get a job with that dump truck company in Mardela.

Yesterday I saw an ASAP Dumpster truck pulling out of Owens Branch Road (The road where the landfill is located) then onto Rt 50.

This thing goes so deep it isn't even funny, Joe you had this thing about SPD keepin it real a while back that had the name Edward Croswell on there and what he had done by reporting equipment from RSI stolen and then selling it. One of those pieces of equipment he supposed sold to Ray and the only reason they found out he was doing this was because of the Lewis investigation.
The IRS needs to look into Ray Lewis. He always had one price for cash another if you paid by check, so he could pocket the cash and not report it.
Actually the equipment at queation came from tri supply not rsi whatever that is. And the reason the police found out about it is not because of any investigation.they didnt even know it was missing until Mr. Croswell went to the police and told them about what he had done on his own. In fact Croswell thought someone was messing with him when the news about Ray broke and he DID NOT tell the investigators what he had done the investigators came knocking on his door and the tractor in question was found in all places POWELLVILLE on another criminals property who will also pay the price. Once again wait til the real truth comes out after the grand jury hears the facts!!!!!!!

I find this strange...On this past Saturday, ASAP trucks were removing debrise from a ditch clean up in Powellville. The ditch was by the Powellville Cemetary. The funny thing is, the ASAP trucks did not enter from the cemetary end. They entered from a county dirt road just past the cemetary. Don't you think if the County thought enough to bring charges against ASAP they would discontinue any jobs with ASAP. If they don't feel that way, they shouldn't have charged the owner of ASAP. Obviously there are other unknown crooks out there associated to this. The funniest thing is that a county employee...I think that the Wicomico County Soil Conservation is a county entity...was driving the ASAP dump truck.
There are alot of people posting comments about "knowing" Ray and that he cares nothing about his family. Anyone who truly knows Ray, knows how much he cares for his father and mother. He and his sister have never had a close relationship but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about her. And furthermore what does the size of his house vs. the size of their house have to do with it. Maybe his parents live in the house they chose, not what he chose for them, did anyone think of that. We all need to remember those that live in glass houses should not through bricks!! Ray and the others have done wrong, however that does not make them any different from alot of other people in our community. Prior to Davis Ruark's arrest did the general public go around bad mouthing him, no he had most people's support. Let's see what happens when the other arrest and/or charges are stated before we totally sentence Ray with out a proper trial. It is hard to tell who may truly be the "mastermind" behind the landfill thefts. Ray just happens to be a good person who made a really bad decision.

To the person or persons who keeps wanting to put Mr. Croswell in the same pot with Mr. Ray Lewis. These two men and their charges have nothing in common. Simply got charged within a few weeks of one another that is it. In no way does Mr. Croswell compare to Ray Lewis. He may have done wrong, but he knows he did wrong and he isnt making it to be a laughing matter as Ray Lewis is. Mr. Croswell is a grown adult that will pay his consequences and not try to pay for them as Ray Lewis will do, and i mean that literally.
