I've been telling my husband all of these very same things for the past 30+ years. He just doesn't get it, that I would like a good homecooked meal when I get home. A nice hot bath drawn wouldn't hurt none either.

I agree with the very last statement. A good husband knows his place.

Want to see something really interesting? I have Gloria Vanderbilt's 195? How to be a wife book, I was really, really, mad when I read it, it sit's on my coffee table now - it is a great conversation piece. That's about all it's worth!!!! I would have been a lonely ol' maid if I lived then.

You are right anonymous 303PM.......
If you printed it for me when I arrived home this evening....you would be HISTORY! So its a good thing I am not your wife!
Whats so wrong for a man to "pamper" his wife ....The June Cleaver Days are over! This is 2008....not 1955. I grew up in a family who sort of lived the Ward and June Cleaver lifestyle. But then again, my Mom did not work out of the house.....So, times have changed! Thank good ness for that!
