I was wondering how the nut case got that email directed to Louise Smith. Debbie Campbell puts Louise in her place and someone on that council decides to give it to someone to post on Story Chat. Now that's the way what I call Kumbyah. (sarcasm)

Joe, your blog is awesome and you do a service to our community for which we should all be grateful. I do not know nor have I ever even met Mike Dunn, but I must say that the unkindness, insensitivity and true pointlessness of these particular posts surprises and saddens me. Is the point that he is gay or is it that people think he looks gay in the picture or what? I really don't understand.
Well, he's not a Leprechaun and looks can be deceiving.
Here's what I find interesting. There are comics and political comics in which they poke fun at anyone. It's part of the territory.
I cannot satisfy 100% of the people visiting this Blog, nor can The Daily Times satisfy all of their PAYING customers as well.
We do our best to entertain as well as deliver unique, breaking and yes, even funny stories and pictures.
As for your never allegedly meeting Mike Dunn, maybe you should. It should be a whole new experience for you, then you can come back and make your statement.

Mike Dunn is the epitomy of insensitivity. While serving as council president, poorly I might add, he took it upon himself to lambaste an 87 year old woman because she suggested they were crooks and liars and they should all resign.
Is he gay? Who cares, it has nothing to do with anything. Is he anorexic? He looks the part. Is he insufferable? Absolutely.
If you don't know or have never had the displeasure of meeting him, count your blessings.

I agree with the who cares about being or not being gay. But comments like fairy, loose in the loafers, limp, etc., sound like some people think that is the point of this series of posts.

Used to play soccer with Dunn at the YMCA back in the day. He was such a wuss. And not a very good soccer player either. His physicality never impressed anyone!

Pele! Yea. He thought. I remember watching a game Dunn's team played against some Crisfield boys. I thought one of those guys were going to kill him. Cheap shots were his game. His political game was a lot like his soccer game. Full of cheap shots and he sucked.
