Be Honest CNBC - You Are Biased Against Ron Paul

Those of us who have supported Ron Paul since his presidential run in 2008 (and some who supported him long before that) have come to expect an astonishing array of mainstream media tricks, lies, and censorship when it comes to the “journalistic” examination of the good doctor. This doesn’t mean, however, that we have ever or will ever come to ACCEPT this consistent trend of deception and disinformation as a forgone conclusion of our political lives. We will never throw up our hands and walk away from the mess the MSM has deliberately created, because that is exactly what they would like us to do; give up, shut up, go home, vote for Romney (an establishment crony with the creepy grin of a pedophile), and watch him lose to Obama (yet another establishment crony) in 2012.

With this stated up front, it was brought to my attention that CNBC was running a poll asking readers who they thought won the recent Republican Presidential Debates in Michigan. Now, as in many polls in 2008, the name “Ron Paul” has been rising to the top of the charts in 2011 despite all efforts by media lapdogs to dissuade the public from even considering such a candidate. CNBC did not fail to play its roll this time around either. Ron Paul won by a substantial margin, and of course, their response was to take the poll down! Here was the explanation given by CNBC Managing Editor and all around bottom feeder, Allen Wastler:

One candidate was leading by such a margin that it became obvious the polling wasn't so much a reading of our audience, but of the Internet prowess of this particular candidate's political organization. We have therefore taken the poll down.

This would be a system that genuflects mediocrity, steals personal aspiration and opportunity, and punishes those who strive to succeed.

A gallon of regular gasoline the day Obama was inaugurated was $1.79 on average in the U.S. Today that price is $3.59, a 100.6% increase. The number of food stamp recipients has risen since Obama took office from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, a 35.1% jump. Long term unemployment soared 146.2% during the same 32 month period from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000. Staggering “hope and change” isn't it?

American citizens living in poverty have risen 9.5% from 39,800,000 to 43,600,000, and the number of unemployed has jumped almost 25% from 11,616,000 to 14,485,000 as of August 31, 2011. The number of unemployed blacks has risen from 12.6% at the end of George Bush's term to 15.8% today, a 25.4% increase, and finally, our national debt is up 34.4% from 10.627 trillion to 14,278 trillion *

Keep these figures in mind as we recount the number of “firsts” for this presidency:

First President to refuse to show a valid birth certificate.

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit rating of the United States .

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico .

First President to defy a Federal Judges court order to cease implementing the Health Care Reform Law.

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.

First President to spend a trillion dollars on shovel-ready jobs and later admit there was no such thing as shovel-ready jobs.

First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of 20,000,000 illegal immigrants across the U.S. , including those with criminal convictions.

First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

First President to terminate Americas ability to put a man in space.

First President to encourage racial discrimination and intimidation at polling places.

First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly speak-out on the reasons for their rate increases.

First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state they are allowed to locate a factory.

First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.

First President to appoint 45 Czars to replace elected officials in his office.

First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office.

First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.

First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.

First President to coddle American enemies while alienating Americas allies.

First President to publicly bow to Americas enemies while refusing to salute the U.S. Flag.

First President to go on multiple global apology tours.

First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends, paid for by the taxpayer.

First President to refuse to wear the U.S. Flag lapel pin.

First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.

First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000.00 a year at taxpayer expense.

First President to repeat “the Holy Qur'an tells us,” and openly admit “the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.”

Remember that 32 months of Obama White House we the people have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our nation's entire history, as the Obama's plan their next extravagant vacation to the Indonesian Island nation of Bali .

NJ Woman Accused Of Driving School Bus While Drunk

WESTAMPTON, N.J. — Police arrested a school bus driver in New Jersey for allegedly driving 25 children home with a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit.

Carole Crockett, 46, is facing 25 counts of endangering the welfare of children, disorderly conduct and drunken driving charges after she was arrested near Holly Hills School, Westampton Township, the Westampton Courier-Post reported.

Coca-Cola Successfully Pressured The Grand Canyon Into Abandoning Its Plastic Bottle Ban

WASHINGTON (AP) — Officials at the Grand Canyon abruptly abandoned plans to ban the sale of plastic water bottles at the Arizona national park after conversations with Coca-Cola officials, The New York Times reported Thursday.

Stephen P. Martin, who crafted the plan, told the newspaper that the effort was scrapped after Coca-Cola officials raised concerns about the plan through the National Park Foundation. He was told the effort was being tabled about two weeks before its scheduled Jan. 1 start.

Washington Nationals Catcher Ramos Reportedly Kidnapped in Venezuela

Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos has been kidnapped near his hometown of Valencia, northern Venezuela, his winter league team the Aragua Tigers announced Wednesday.

According to multiple reports from local outlets, four gunmen approached Ramos outside his mother's home in Santa Ines, about 16 miles south of Valencia, and took him away.

Renovation is underway to ready to the space for enlarged brewing operations, offices for Southern Boys Concepts and the new Public House restaurant. It is anticipated that the location will be ready in the early months of 2012, with the restaurant portion to open in mid January; and the production brewery to open in late February.

The expansion will allow Evolution's brewing capacity to increase and strengthen its supply for their distribution regions in Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC and Northern Virginia and for growth into neighboring areas. The current production facility in Delmar, DE would continue to be used through February 2012 and it will then evolve into a new concept.

The building design team has been helmed by G. Matthew Drew of AWB Engineers of Salisbury, MD and the construction is being done by Temco Construction. The site was brokered by Brent Miller CCIM CPM of Sperry Van Ness Miller Commercial Real Estate and his team.

Evolution has grown incredibly in its first years of operations with exciting growth potential ahead. Salisbury Police Department Press Releases 11-10-11

On November 8, 2011 at approximately 6:15 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for the report of an assault. Upon arrival the officer met with an adult female victim who advised that she had been sexually assaulted by three (3) males at a residence on E. Church Street. The victim advised that she and three (3) friends had entered an unoccupied dwelling on East Church Street the previous night and were inside of the residence when the suspects made entry. The suspects assaulted one of the victim’s male friends then forced the victim to relocate to an empty bedroom where she was sexually assaulted. Salisbury detectives responded and were able to positively identify the suspects. As a result of the investigation, 26 year old Carl Anderson of Salisbury, 28 year old Mychal Edward Seeney of Salisbury, and 25 year old David Leonardus Braboy of Salisbury were arrested on the same date as the incident. The detectives were able to identify a fourth and final suspect who was taken into custody this morning at approximately 6:30 am.

General: Ashes From Service Members' Remains Went To Landfill

(CNN) -- The ashes of cremated body parts from some of the nation's war dead were dumped in landfills until 2008, unbeknownst to their survivors, an Air Force general acknowledged Wednesday.

The practice was stopped, and remains from cremated body parts now are disposed of at sea, Air Force Chief of Public Affairs Brig. Gen. Les Kodlick said.

The landfill disposal of the ashes was first reported in The Washington Post.

Delaware's Sea Level Rise Advisory Committee is educating residents on the possible impacts of increasing sea levels.

The advisory committee is working on a report on the potential impact of rising sea levels in the state, and will be making recommendations to offset those effects based on various sea level rise scenarios.

The latest data shows the sea level in Delaware is rising about 3.5 millimeters a year.

Foreclosures On The Rise Again

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The number of foreclosures climbed in October, as mortgage lenders started to work through the paperwork problems that had delayed new filings for much of the last year.

Foreclosure filings were reported on 230,678 properties nationwide in October, a 7% increase from September, reported RealtyTrac, an online marketplace for foreclosed properties. Despite the increase, filings were still 31% below year-earlier levels, though.

Agency Left $38 Million Unspent On Disabled People Needing Care

The beleaguered Developmental Disabilities Administration, with thousands on its waiting list for care, left $25 million in state funding unspent over the last two years, and wound up having to return the money to the state’s general fund. Update: Sussex Board Denies Jusst Sooup Request

GEORGETOWN — Supporters of the Rev. Dale Dunning say the fight is not yet over, and they will continue to look for a way to open a soup kitchen at the Jusst Sooup Ranch along Coolspring Road.

Cops: Sandusky Admitted To '98 Shower With Boy

(CBS/AP) Jerry Sandusky, the one-time heir apparent to Penn State football coach Joe Paterno, told a boy's mother in 1998 that he had showered with her son and with other boys but he wouldn't promise to stop, according to a Pennsylvania grand jury report.

Police in State College, Penn., listened in to two conversations Sandusky had with the mother, with her permission, after her then-11-year-old son came home with hair wet from showing with Sandusky. At the end of the second conversation, Sandusky was told he could not see the boy anymore.

Leaders vote for it after being unable to resolve $3.14 billion debt caused by sewer system

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Alabama's most populous county filed the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history Wednesday, years after being plunged more than $4 billion into debt by a corruption-riddled sewer project.

Just two months after it seemed Jefferson County could stave off embarrassment by striking a deal with creditors, talks broke down over about $140 million, said Commissioner Jimmie Stephens, who made the motion to file for the protection. Since 2008, commissioners have tried to avoid the move to settle the debt, which resulted mostly from a mix of outdated sewer pipes, the lagging economy, court rulings and public corruption.

The Penn State University's trustees announced late Wednesday night that it had ousted school president Graham Spanier and legendary head football coach Joe Paterno amid a child sex abuse scandal under their watch involving a former assistant coach.

Irene, Lee not to blame for shellfish die-off

State biologists said a major oyster die-off in the Chesapeake Bay was likely caused by record fresh water during spring and summer storms - not by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, as some had believed.

In two areas of the Chesapeake north of the Bay Bridge, biologists found 79 percent and 74 percent of the oysters dead. On two bars, they found not a single live oyster.

The few oysters that were alive were "bloated, watery and translucent," according to the Department of Natural Resources. Those oysters may not live much longer.

Cutting Back Salt May Be Worse For Heart Health: Study

(CBS) Cutting back on salt might not be all it's cracked up to be for heart health. A new study suggests reducing dietary salt intake may actually raise several risk factors for heart disease.

"I can't really see, if you look at the total evidence, that there is any reason to believe there is a net benefit of decreasing sodium intake in the general population," study author Dr. Niels Graudal, a senior consultant at Copenhagen University Hospital in Denmark, told Reuters.

City Could Face Legal Action Over Occupy Delaware

DOVER, Del. (AP) -- A Wilmington lawyer is threatening to take the city to court if it does not end what he believes are unconstitutional restrictions on Occupy Delaware participants.

Attorney Thomas Neuberger emailed a cease-and-desist letter to city officials Wednesday demanding that they allow Occupy Delaware participants to assemble and stay overnight at a downtown plaza without using permit requirements as an excuse to prohibit protected activities.

We’ve lost 5.5 million manufacturing jobs since 2000. These were high paying middle class jobs.

These jobs are still being done. They are being done in China, India, Vietnam, Mexico, and hundreds of other countries around the globe. Manufacturing has been in relative decline both in the United States and in many other developed nations for years. Its contribution to America’s gross domestic product has decreased from about 25 percent in 1947 to 11 percent in 2009.
American manufacturing employment peaked at 19.6 million in 1979 and has generally been falling ever since.

This has happened due to our trade policies, unions pricing their workers out of competitiveness, decline in vocational programs for training workers, foreigners using currency manipulation to steal our jobs, greedy mega corporations seeking short term profits over long-term sustainablity, and delusional Americans believing that buying cheap shit on credit was the path to wealth.

The end result is that the fastest growing job in America over the last ten years has been FOOD BATCH MAKERS, also known as the guys putting the pickles on Quarter Pounders with Cheese at McDonalds.

At least they can’t outsource that job to India. We’ve got that goin for us.

Eddie Murphy Out As Oscars Host

Eddie Murphy has withdrawn as host of the Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said in a statement Wednesday.

The decision had been predicted by movie industry observers, as Murphy is friends and creative partners with Brett Ratner, who stepped aside less than a day ago as producer of the show. Ratner left the position after he was heavily criticized for using a gay slur during a question-and-answer session for his new film, "Tower Heist," in which Murphy stars. He was also criticized for sexual and other statements he made about women on "The Howard Stern Show."

"I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well," said Tom Sherak, president of the Academy.

EPJ has learned that '60 Minutes' will air a segment this Sunday reporting on conflicts of interest in Nancy Pelosi stock trades.

Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi, purchased between $1 and $5 million in Visa stock while Pelosi was considering legislation that would have a major impact on Visa.

During a press conference Steve Kroft from '60 Minutes' questioned Pelosi as to why she didn't bring legislation affecting credit-card swipe fees to the floor of the House for a vote late in 2008.

Kroft also questioned some of the investments made by John Boehner, but it appears the main focus of the segment will be on Pelosi.

Western Maryland Farmers: 'We're Out Of Turkeys'

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Some small farms in western Maryland say they have sold out of turkeys, weeks ahead of Thanksgiving.

Cathy Horst, co-owner of Jehovah-Jireh farm in Dickerson, tells The Frederick News-Post that the farm begins taking orders when it announces their turkeys on their website in March or April. Horst says the farm sold out two months ago and plans to slaughter more turkeys during the Thanksgiving week.
Organic farmer Carol Rollman, owner of Sycamore Spring Farm in Frederick, says she has one home-grown turkey left. Rollman says she gets more calls every year from people wanting local turkeys.

Campaign encourages all Marylanders to volunteer in their communities and give back during the Holiday Season

BALTIMORE, MD (November 9, 2011) – Governor Martin O'Malley today, joined by children at The Ark Preschool in Baltimore and officials from CareFirst, officially launched the “Maryland: Stronger Together” campaign to encourage all Marylanders to give back and volunteer during the Holiday Season. The Ark is a preschool for homeless children in Baltimore City, and serves children between the ages of three and five years old to help them develop the skills they need for kindergarten.

“In Maryland, we are a compassionate, generous people, and we share the belief that one person can make a difference and all of us must try,” said Governor O’Malley. “It is our hope that as we gather with our loved ones during this Holiday Season, we will also share what we can – whether food, money, or time – with those who are less fortunate. That’s why we are launching the Maryland: Stronger Together campaign to help our neighbors in need.”

The campaign will connect Marylanders with various opportunities to serve in their communities.

As part of “Maryland: Stronger Together,” Governor O’Malley today also unveiled a new interactive map that allows citizens to enter their home or work address to find service opportunities in their communities. Through social media, Marylanders will be able to share their stories about volunteering using Twitter hashtag #MDTogether, display an official Maryland: Stronger Together Basno Digital Badge on their social media accounts, and post photos, videos and stories on the “Maryland: Stronger Together” Facebook page.

“The Maryland: Stronger Together campaign is an important new initiative to help Marylanders get involved in their communities,” said Barbara Reynolds, director of the Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism. “We know that our citizens are generous and caring; with over 1.3 million Marylanders volunteering each year to drive veterans to medical appointments, plant trees along the Chesapeake Bay, tutor youth, deliver meals to seniors, and more. With this new campaign, the Governor is creating a unique centralized and accessible tool to help even more citizens make a difference in their communities.”

The Administration is also partnering with CareFirst to introduce the “Compassionate Marylander” award to choose Marylanders from across the state who exhibit dedication to service and have made outstanding contributions to their communities. From November 10^th to December 30^th, citizens are asked to nominate the state’s most “Compassionate Marylanders” by submitting an essay on their nominee’s service efforts. Marylanders will be able to help select the 10 finalists by voting for their favorite story online here . A review committee compiled of members from the Governor’s Office and CareFirst will choose five winners to be announced in January from the top 10 finalists. CareFirst will donate $5,000 in each winner’s name to the charity of their choice.

Throughout November and December, the Governor, First Lady, Lt. Governor and staff will be participating in service events to help Marylanders in need.

Calif. Marine Beaten To Death At Camp Pendleton

Authorities in California have determined that a Marine who was found dead in his Camp Pendleton barracks was beaten to death by another Marine.

The North County Times ( http://bit.ly/us5awj ) says investigators determined that 19-year-old Lance Cpl. Mario Arias Jr. was attacked at the San Diego County base over the weekend.

BRIEF RESUME:
On the above date and time, a Trooper from the Salisbury Barrack was on patrol in the area of Ed Taylor Drive at the dead end, Salisbury Wicomico County a road known to be frequented by prostitutes and controlled dangerous substances abusers. At that location the Trooper observed a vehicle pulled into a wood line and it appeared to be un-occupied. The Trooper approached the vehicle on foot and observed a partially nude person wearing female under garments lying on his back on the back seat. The suspect was later identified as a male by his Maryland I.D. card. as Thomas E. Bowen III). The Trooper also observed suspected crack cocaine and crack cocaine paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and a quantity of crack cocaine was recovered from the vehicle along with other paraphernalia.

Upon arrival at the barrack additional paraphernalia was located secreted inside of Bowen’s under garments. Bowen was arrested and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was held on $10,000.00 bond after a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

Bowen was charged with possession of cds Crack Cocaine and possession of cds paraphernalia.

Lewis Fined For Hit On Ward

OWINGS MILLS -- Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis says he was fined by the NFL for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward in Sunday night's game.
Lewis hit Hines in the second quarter of Baltimore's 23-20 win. Ward was dazed by the collision and helped off the field. He did not return.
Lewis said Wednesday he was informed by the NFL that he would be fined for the hit. He would not disclose the amount of the fine.

Talking to Your Kids About Same-Sex Relationships

It’s become readily apparent that my children are growing up faster than I can grab a handbook and immediately tackle any given parenting situation. Recently my 7-year-old has been actively inquiring about same-sex marriage as she has heard snippets on the news about legislation and equality.

Using that as a jumping off point (as well as the casual usage, albeit out of context, of the word "gay" by my un-knowing son) I started to wonder how I could/should react if either one of my kids came home and wanted to have a sit-down about homosexuality.

Thank you for contacting me in opposition of H.R. 1125, the Debt Free America Act. I share your opposition to government imposed financial fees which, in reality, are merely a form of increased taxation.

As you may know, H.R. 1125 was introduced on February 23, 2010 and referred to the Committees on Ways and Means, Budget, Rules, and Appropriations. The Debt Free America Act would impose a 1% fee on all transactions including check, cash, credit card, and transfer of stocks, bonds, or other financial instruments. During this time when American families and individuals are struggling to make ends meet, imposing this type of fee would be harmful to the economy and an undue burden on our citizens. Fortunately, this bill was not acted upon in the previous Congress (H.R. 4646, 11th Congress) and I do not expect it to garner much support in this term. I will continue to fight for lower taxes and less government intrusion in our free market economy.

Democrats And Republicans Not Even Close To Settling Deficit Reduction Differences

Democrats and Republicans on the special deficit reduction committee appear no closer to resolving their differences, the Associate Press reported. This came after yesterday's Republican proposal to allow some tax increases. The proposal was quickly dismissed by Democratic members. The GOP plan would have cut tax rates but ended some deductions, including mortgage interest. Democrats say it would have raised middle class taxes but lowered rates for the wealthy. The committee has until just before Thanksgiving to agree on a plan to present to the rest of Congress.
