Yeah. Pretty sure that they weren't considering a global pandemic occurring in a modern world like ours. For God's sake, they didn't even have cars or flight in 1866! This type of situation is the exact reason the founding fathers created the provision for Amendments. Feel confidant that a situation like this would easily apply too.

You weren't around in 1969, were you? The Hong Kong flu, H3N2, killed about 2 million worldwide and over 100,000 in the United States. And that was without "social distancing" quarantining or any of that other BS from totally scared and incompetent governors. Get you head out of your butt and real a little history.

Also, the following factors prevented a worse scenario in the US:
Some immunity against the N2 flu virus may have been retained in populations struck by the Asian Flu strains which had been circulating since 1957;
The pandemic did not gain momentum until near the winter school holidays, thus limiting the infection spreading;
Improved medical care gave vital support to the very ill;
The availability of antibiotics that were more effective against secondary bacterial infections.

Global pandemic. According to who and what evidence do you have to support your statement that would be different from the flu. Please elaborate or your comment is null and void, hence the constitution stands as it is.
100,000 directly caused by covid 19 or some falsified. Please provide facts to support your statement. As we have seen from several sources lately, primarily Colorado and Pennsylvania, these numbers referenced have been inaccurate. Please refute this statement with factual evidence.

I need a link from this cut and paster so we can read the background on this. Milligan was about whether the military could try a traitor in Indiana where there was no civil war action and when civil courts were open. More information is needed for the context we are now experiencing. We are not under a war scenario and not being prosecuted by a war tribunal.

@9:15 please provide your facts as well. As the numbers are being padded the other way to allow states to Open Up. To reach the 14 day threshold of lower hospitalization numbers. You are sick, stay at home, self quarantine. Don't feel good, stay at home. The numbers work the other way as well. So many have died at home due to this. Now that has been proven. My point being, numbers are probably being shifted in either direction. Money dictates all.
There was just a lawsuit filed in fed court based partly on this. The man owns short term rental at a DE beach. His wife is the lawyer. I'm sure the details can be found using Google.
8:18 I don't think or at least in any great numbers the numbers are being padded. What I do know is that there were hospital admittance that wasn't necessary. I personally know of 3. All in NYC. 2 went to ER the hospital wanted to admit they refused. Were better in a couple days. Another was in the hospital on a breather mask thing. He filmed himself on IG saying they wanted to put him on a ventilator but he was considering refusing. He ended up refusing took the breather off got dressed and went home. He was back to normal in a week. These were all in mid March He now is blaming his breathing trouble on anxiety. I since heard Dr Ivette Lozano. She treats Covid patients She too maintains anxiety over hearing that diagnosis is causing anxiety in many patients which mimics symptoms and/or exacerbates them.
