Now Big Brother will watch where you eat…
Washington Governor Jay Inslee has ordered restaurants to track every dine-in customer if they want to reopen.
According to the order, restaurants must demand that customers show their IDs and then keep a log of everyone who eats there.
This is Inslee's attempt to make contact tracing easier if a breakout happens…
But many critics worry that this level of tracking sets a dangerous precedent.
There are legitimate constitutional concerns about the government's ability to track and record where and when people eat.
Restaurants are required to keep their logs for 30 days, which include the customer's phone number, email address, and date and time they came to eat.

They're going for tracking in a backasswards way. Germany has a system that's working, with minimal risk of outing anyone's identity.

You also have to tell them your phone carrier so they can get easier tracking info on your movement.
So, now you must surrender you fourth and fifth amendment right to go eat at a restaurant? I DON'T THINK SO!
Sadly, though it's easy to hold the restaurants, and the officials responsible...This can ONLY happen IF the CITEZENS themselves allow it to happen! The same holds true for ALL of us. We as Americans have become keyboard protestors, and TV prize fighters, because it's much easier to yell at the TV, and be a policy expert on the social networking platforms. Thats easy, because theres no risk, being faceless and nameless, but if we're not willing to really put some skin in the game by actually . Orginizong, or joining and taking part in action groups, voter groups, etc this crap will NEVER stop! WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO BE ACTIVLY INVOLVED

I will not eat at a restaurant that has to have my information, also I keep my tracking off so they can't automatically trace me. This will ruin restaurants also if they decide to do this along with the surcharge.
Yeah yer right. Well, no worries,my self & my family WILL be very safe and secure. Our lil slice of heaven compound is always secure, I just get frustrated when half the folks I know have all the answers, but nobody wants to put a dog in the race! Oh well, have a great weekend!
Just don't eat in the restaurants that do this. The damn government does enough tracking of every U.S. citizen without this too.
Seattle Starbucks are also going to collect fingerprints along with the customer info. They are having a form made and you also leave your right thumb print on it like at the bank on checks.
