Hours after the 35-year-old photo came to light Friday, Northam apologized for his decision to appear in it. Elected officials and activist groups from across the political spectrum called for him to resign.
But in a video posted to Twitter Friday evening, Northam said he had spent the past year “fighting for a Virginia that works better for all people” and he would continue to do so throughout the rest of his term, which ends in January 2022.
“I accept responsibility for my past actions, and I am ready to do the hard work of regaining your trust,” he said.

The irony is just a year ago Ralphie paid for a commercial showing a redneck white guy in a pickup truck with a Confederate battle flag on it and a MAGA sticker on it chasing little Mexican kids and saying his opponent, Ed. Gillispie was a racist. Ironically they never ever found anything racist about Republican Ed Gillispie and he lost the Governor race to this baby killing douche bag.

The Corvette is the first thing I thought about when I saw the Yearbook Pics. The only thing is, it wasn't a brand new Corvette because those were his VMI pics and it was a 1984 Yearbook but it was still an expensive car and not all families could afford to buy their child one. I believe it was a 1967 Vette. I remember living down that area and having a lot of friends in Accomack County that came from better-off families and I was always envious of them. They never treated me any different and to this day I respect them for that. Hanging out with those people were some of the best times of my life.
J.C., the dude said it was a car he restored. I agree with you 10:08, and SU will for sure have him if he is liberal. May not be governor at that time, but still liberal. I just checked out RINO Hogan's twitter accounts. He has two, one for Governor and a personal account. I went back to the middle of January on both of them and not one time did RINO Larry denounce his friend Ralph Northam who he is supposed to be with next week at SU.
Not once did RINO Larry denounce his buddy Gov. Ralph Northam on his statements advocating late-term abortions of living, breathing infants.
Not once did RINO Larry denounce his buddy Gov. Ralph Northam on these racist yearbook pictures showing Ralph in blackface with a KKK hood or his nickname being "Coonman." Not to mention he even admitted wearing blackface at a dance wearing blackface and a Michael Jackson costume.
The irony of this is that RINO Larry denounced President Trump several times during the election and wouldn't even support his fellow Republican, but he is quick to support the Democrats.
RINO Larry was quick to denounce the "White Nationalists" in Charlottesville when in fact the so-called white nationalists were the peaceful protestors supporting General Lee's statute. It has been proven that RINO Larry's buddy Gov. Terry McCauliffe and Charlottesville Mayor ordered the police agencies to stand down knowing there would be a clash with ANTIFA members. The Mayor of Charlottesville leaked out the permit for a planned peaceful protest that was filed several weeks earlier. This was done to put a black eye on the supporters of the General Lee statue since the mayor was planning on removing it just like RINO Larry did with the Judge Taney stature in front of the state house in the middle of the night while members of the General Assembly and their employees were in Ocean City partying it up for the annual MACo Conference in August.
RINO Larry was quick to denounce the Confederate Battle flag after the church shootings in Charleston and demand the MVA take back all Sons of Confederate Veterans vanity license plates. The Confederate Battle flag didn't shoot those people, a deranged little ANTIFA twit did.
RINO Larry was quick to denounce President Trump and again attack him by blaming the government shutdown on our President.
Come on RINO Larry, the evidence is right in your face that Governor Northam is a racist and a baby killer and you still haven't chimed in on your Democrat buddy.
