New York's Chris Collins says he will now carry a gun

A Republican congressman has said he will carry a gun whenever he's 'out and about' after a man critically wounded Majority Whip Steve Scalise in a shooting yesterday.

New York's Rep. Chris Collins, a strong backer of President Trump, said carrying a gun is not normal for him - but the attack in Alexandria, VA has forced him to change his mind.

Anti-Trump activist James T. Hodgkinson, 66, wounded Scalise and shot several others before he was killed by police who were guarding him at a baseball practice.

A Congressman is now saying that, no matter what the laws says, he will carry a gun.
If caught with it, he will do NO time, get NO fine, keep his job, pay no penalty whatsoever, and enjoy a happy retirement on a generous pension.
That's him.
"We, the people"??
Prison. lawyer fees, fines, loss of job, etc.
That DOES however, presume that "we, the people" will just roll over for that.
Carry a gun. And if ANYONE tries to take it, empty it on them.
