Barbara worked in retail marketing for 20 years with Sears Roebuck & Company and GNC, retiring in 2016. Some of her favorite hobbies were discovering bazaar fishing spots with her husband, hummingbird and blue bird watching from her sun porch, and watching Ohio State sports.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Matthew Joseph Mazzella; a sister, Penny (Calvin) Carver of Louisa, VA; a brother, Rick that predeceased her in 2005; a sister in law, Jeanne Sinkovic; a brother-in- law, Richard (Barbara) Mazzella of Huntingtown, MD; a sister-in-law, Natalie (Kenny) Boehm of Edgewater, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. There will be a visitation on Monday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home. Interment for Barbara will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
