President Obama, as a candidate, had an appeal that transcended ideology and reached far past his party's base. He won over people across the spectrum by promising to fix some of the country's dysfunctions: partisan gridlock and warfare, special-interest domination of policymaking, racial strife and perpetual war.
Judging Obama on his own terms, against his goal of improving these troubled areas, he has failed.
"In the face of war," Obama told the crowd gathered in Springfield for his presidential campaign launch in 2007, "you believe there can be peace. In the face of despair, you believe there can be hope. In the face of a politics that's shut you out, that's told you to settle, that's divided us for too long, you believe we can be one people."
This speech is a good benchmark against which to measure Obama's tenure. When he returned to Springfield last year, he admitted to one failure:

He is just a failure not only as the president but also as a false patriot. He is a proven liar, a traitor and mostly a coward. He has set this country back 50+ years due to his socialist agenda and ignorance. Good riddance.
He sure does the talk but never the walk. Talks a lot but never says anything or stands up for anything. Sure he makes his muslim handlers very happy.
Obama never had a chance. The country/world was not ready for a radical who surrounded himself with radicals and extreme ideologies. He ran on "Hope and Change" which never got off the ground and he left many who were in need still in need and neglected. Nothing has changed except Chicago has gotten worse, Baltimore is down the tubes, crime in San Francisco runs rampant and unchecked with homeless reaching staggering numbers; civil strife unprecedented since the 60's. Can you even believe California is hiring Eric Holder to help in defiance of the federal government? What kind of people are these? Jerry Brown is a moonbat and the people who keep re-electing the goof are moonbats as well. The Big Quake is looming and I see it as a sign from above that it is no longer tolerable.
Obummer's main thrust of "change" was always to change this country (& the world) to a Muslim dominated society. Everything else was smoke and mirrors to implement and hide this objective...
