Less than a week before the Maryland General Assembly session begins, a new poll finds 74 percent of Marylanders have a favorable view of Gov. Larry Hogan.
The poll of 823 registered voters conducted between December 14 and this past Monday finds 45 percent "strongly approve" of the job Hogan is doing, while 29 percent "somewhat approve."
The poll finds 15 percent disapprove of the job Hogan is doing, and 11 percent of those surveyed had no opinion.

Here on SBYNews his approval rating is more like 18% because he is Too Liberal
no, 6:49, you are wrong. He IS the most popular governor we've had. Period.
He would have a higher number if he would just push for concealed carry. We would all be safer as well. What is his problem with this issue? Maryland is one of the few states in which the average person cannot get a CC permit. I understand the democratic legislature but the people elected a republican gov and most folks want CC.
He wants the second term to push CC. If he does it now, the Blues will take over.
Let the man do his (our) job!

lol how quaint. someone still believes
Must be a CNN poll
His administration has to be more than just about CC. He reduced the bridge toll among other things and is trying to undo (takes time) what the loon O'Malley did the previous 8 years. Also, don't forget he is working against a very liberal state house that will buck him at every turn just because they can. Liberals are barely lucky to manage their check book let alone the workings of a state. They don't get it. Hogan brings clear, productive, and constructive leadership which is sometimes hard to recognize.
would have been higher had he supported trump!
Goodness, he looks really bad.
