JUST IN: Deputies: Gator drags child into water near Disney's Grand Floridian
The 2-year-old child was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon about 9:30 p.m., Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Rose Silva said.
Deputies are searching the waters and put crime-scene tape around the water.
Silva said the child has not been found.

Doesn't sound promising, but I pray for a miracle.
Why would they put alligators in a pond where they allow tourists to go also?
This is not a rescue effort, it's a recovery (of remains). Alligators do what alligators do.
I am sure this will be someones fault other than the parents.
8:17 are you really that stupid? PUT? I highly doubt they PUT alligators there. I mean it IS florida.
It has been there for 30 year.
So this is either the alligators fault of Disneys fault. But I am sure NOT the parents fault.
We went to Disney in the 80's and other parts of Florida, saw alligators, probably got closer than we should have and Dad yelled at us and got us away to a safer distance. But see our parents watched us.
If you don't live in florida you don't understand how unsafe your actions can be.
Lawyers already contacted & suit filed.This full court press on Disney actually began some time back with minor mechanical issues,but hit high gear with the shooting and gator attack.We all know that events that occur near an entertainment venue have an impact on that venue,even though the shooting was not on Disney property.Attendance will inevitably drop.
