Confidence in newspapers, TV news hits bottom

Confidence in newspapers has hit an all time low in the latest Gallup survey, and TV news is also at a new low, the latest proof that Americans are losing faith in the media.

Gallup found that just 20 percent have confidence in newspapers, a 10-point drop in 10 years. TV news saw an identical 10-point drop, from 31 percent to 21 percent.

But it could be worse. Of all the institutions Gallup surveyed on, Congress is at the bottom, with just 9 percent having confidence in America's elected leaders, a finding that is clearly impacting the direction and tone of the 2016 elections.

I don't believe any of them. Even False news that I used to watch 24/7. After all the BS they put Trump through because they were in the establishment candidate pocket!!!!;I've read more books and very content.

I cannot stand CBS (Clinton Broadcasting Network), CNN (Clinton News Network), or ABC (ALL ABOUT CLINTON). They are all government and corporate controlled. That includes Fox, which really isn't fair or balanced!

Sad but all that is out there is the alternative news outlets, which isn't always correct, but at least some of the truth get out. At least the public is starting to wake up to this fact and have started to tune out the media.

I feel true sorrow for the people who consider themselves to be middle of the road Americans and are bombarded by the crap that the MSM spews on a daily basis. The sorrow is not just for them, but for us all, as they are led by the eyes and ears to accept what's fed to them every morning, noon and night.

But, but, but each day the Daily Times covers page 1 and 2 with a restaurant review. Isn't that news? No wonder at all they win so many journalistic awards!

Lucky us!
